You should just watch the let's plays of Fallen Enchantress on youtube and you can see for yourself. They are long but you can skip through.

Thats one thing I am wondering about... when you increase the resolution without increasing the size of the monitor/pixels, do you have to increase the size of icons and text to compensate? I know by default many applications will be running at 1/2 resolution and double size, so they look the same as always, but you can force the resolution up which makes it very compact and possibly difficult to use.
Yeah it is unfortunate that as time goes on the english language is running out of words for us to use for websites, companies, and products. Eventually I hope we move beyond unique names for everything and allow overlap. Just imagine if every human born had to have a unique name... it would cause lots of problems. In the meantime I think rights to names should expire after a few years of disuse... the problem is that companies will release garbag
I always disliked Ubisoft because of their DRM dating back to using Starforce in their games back in 2005. Heroes 6 was a game I very much looked forward to and I still think it would be fun to play. A combination of bugs and a terrible online service cause many frusterations for players of that game, making it a deal breaker to me. I want to access all the features offline, and I don't want to risk losing my save game in order to play online. Plus, their serv
Do you think that summoning the arcane monolith caused the essence to disappear? Did you raze it in order to settle the city or was it just nearby to force the enemy to leave your territory?
Yeah I was thinking it just adds new traits to the pool you randomly choose from each level, it doesn't remove old ones. I am not sure if you even could remove them if you wanted to. I could see it branching like this: Governor -> Economist, Engineer, Researcher Mage -> Sorcerer, Battlemage, Enchanter Warrior -> Defender, Berserker, General Rogue -> Assassin, Archer, Bard
I don't think the Fallen Enchantress is undead, she is basically human like all the races you can play as now. Sorry but I don't think she will match your expectations.
Yeah, what I do is export the audio to audacity and then do noise cancellation with any background static. Its a little bit easier if you record your voice separately.
Rather than add more paths or replace existing ones, another option is to put in specialization classes. So maybe once you reach level 10 you get to choose one of three new paths that are determined by the original path you chose. This would allow more customizations like teh ones you suggested.
My impression is that the health bar gets messed up when you take damage from special abilities instead of spells or normal attacks. I remember deadly bite is one example, the mirror elementals another. I am not sure if they made it happen less in the most recent build or if I just haven't noticed it as much.
You need to go to the other dragon statues to find out what the gem is for.
The second thing is a UI bug... the essence is still there you can't see it. Sometimes grain and materials icons will also disappear, but if you hover over a square you can see the resources in the bottom right corner at the top of the box there. This second location always seems to be correct even if the icons are not shown on the map.
I think its intentional to discourage people from snaking. I hope they change it though.
I think he just means the champion does 100 damage to one unit out of the pack at a time. So if it is one champion versus 3 groups of 5 wildlings, then the champion will have to do 15 total attacks to kill them, instead of 3 attacks where each is hit killing a whole wildling pack.
Am i right in assuming you are willing to take quests sent in by players who wave the copyright so you can then incorporate them? I'd imagine you'd get boatloads and could put them all in once vetted? Similar question with spells.
I think the best/most traditional way to deal with this is to simply have the community make a compilation of the best ones as a single mod. Then people can download that and in
There is a simple solution to his original concerns... which I have mentioned elsewhere. Simply make it so that enchantments have a base value, such as Enchanted Hammers giving +4 Production, +2 Production per essence. This makes 1 essence valuable and lessens the bonuses from having lots of essence.
I just tested it out. I was always suspicious of these abilities since they would be hard to measure if they actually worked. I started a brand new game and chose finesse at level 2 with Altar. I went around fighting stuff with a dagger and sure enough finesse does not seem to work at all. I would assume Brute and those others don't work either but I guess looking at the XML might show a typo or something. Edit: Brute Seems to Work
Well... if anyone REALLY wants to play you can always cancel the order with your bank and order it again from somewhere else (perhaps direct from the developers... wink). There are repercussions if you don't get a refund through the vendor and just cancel the order. Some places will blacklist you for doing this, though I have no idea if Gamersgate would do this.
Most of these would not be suitable as quest rewards since they effect all players if I am not mistaken. They could be used to simply modify the game to your liking if you want to rebalance things. You might be able to make some dramatic world events though, like "Rebellion spreads through the lands and for 10 turns all cities cost upkeep"
Are you sure? In combat it appears under the "abilities" tab instead of the spell tab, so maybe you missed it.
This is a frusterating new change to the game. I often try to click on units at the far right side of the screen where the events like "An enemy is in your territory" show up. I also like to zoom in and out of the map using the mouse wheel and not being able to use that portion of the screen is restrictive. Please make it so that I can use the mouse wheel to zoom the map even if there are notices there. The problem is that the icon only takes up a small portion of the screen visually but the
I posted a turn one save game that should be easier to debug. Has nothing to do with starting with no tile yields, the AI is capable of moving to the nearest location (In a suspiciously direct route...) https://forums.elementalgame.com/430553
I think that you can use both systems. For example, you could make it that a city gets 1 production per material for each city level, and generates 1 research for each city level. This means that a level 5 city could be just as good as 5 level 1 cities. There might be some of this going on right now but they could accentuate it perhaps to balance things a bit more. I don't really really get bothered by your points # 3, 4 and 5, I don'
I haven't tested all of the difficulties but I confirmed that on Normal and Challenging difficulty they AI does start the game with a path, allowing them to get a second path at level four. This is well known. A lesser known cheat is that the AI sometimes spawns Gold Mines and Apiaries next to their capital city on turn 2. This is a big advantage and should not happen on normal difficulty. The extra path is really annoying because it wou
