To be honest, I don't remember much. I played Baldur's Gate and similar games for the exploration and combat more than the characters and story. Certainly its worth playing because its different, especially if you like reading the large blocks of text. The part that stood out most was that artifact you could periodically unlock with a conversation if your intelligence/wisdom was high enough. That was pretty cool. I also liked how Mort had specialized items and mechanics.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MechWarrior_Tactics The story is all there. Sad... i don't think game will ever be released.
I almost backed this game on kickstarter, but I was unsure if they could pull it off. Based on the steam reviews, it seems like it is a decent and lengthy RPG. However, people have reported that the game is a bit repetitive and also that the combat system boils down to who has the highest speed stat (similar to the initiative problem in Fallen Enchantress, I guess). It seems like its worth checking out, but it may not be as engaging as some of the other choices such as Divini
I think the issue here is that Steam released a feature that isn't useful for the vast majority of its user base. The only reason this feature is useful is so you don't have to give the person the password to your steam account. So rather than "family sharing" it works as "stranger sharing" If you trust the person with your account password, it is much better to let them use steam in offline mode (and disable family sharing). That is similar to what I do with my dad (we live i
Pillars of eternity and broken age part 2 (im a backer) are both slated for december. I'm not really interested in any other games. I buy games when they go on sale and my backlog is so large anyways. I am having fun with wasteland 2 but i might wait a bit for patches and dlc. I only have time to play a game once these days... Sigh
I wohld guess the steam reviews is the % of thumbs up vs thumbs down. Similar to rotten tomatoes. I think you should also add metacritic user vs critic review score to that comparison, if i may offer a suggestion, Sir Frog
Someone should make a sjw parody game. Could be fun and enlightning.
1. I hate when the AI gangs up on the human. They should have reasons for who they ally with and who they hate... Even irrational ones such as xenophobia or conflicting playstyles (2 expanders go to war, two turtlers might ally and share resources) I dislike trading. Almost never reach a good agreement with AI. 2. Newer games are more like 75-150 turns, MoM and MOO2 were probably 300-600, maybe 1000 tops. I basically just conquer all neutral monsters, level up u
My goto site is http://www.techreport.com They have in depth reviews as well as a nice article called the system guide where they give sample parts at different price ranges that they recommend. Also, if you are looking for a good price, i suggest pcpartpicker.com which lets you view every vendors prices and get email alerts when something goes on sale to an amount you want (under $150 for example)
I don't like it that much. There are lots of flaws with the balance of the game and the game design in general. Part of the problem is classless systems make for bland characters in most cases. Hopefully the content released in the future will address some of these problems.
This voting system is depressing. The rpg bundle lost, Age of Wonders III for $20 lost, and now this 4x bundle will probably lose as well.
I dislike avg. It has false positives and it also messes with visual studio, causing it to run slow. I think i will just use microsoft security essentials going forward. Have not seen any viruses in years, so not worried about it too much.
I think the AI in MoM did a decent job of using the spells available. It just needed some rules of when to not use certain ones. Also some were buggy or underpowered. The civ part of the AI was the most flawed, IMO. These games really just boil down to economic efficiency, just like starcraft. If you want a game about tactics you need to remove the resources and make population / morale be paramount. I do think that changing the victory condition would go a long w
I have not been able to find any affected sites in my personal usage habits. You should use ssllabs.com instead to check if a website is vulnerable.
I have no idea why you have that error, but maybe it has something to do with IPv6 vs IPv4? If his forum software only works with IPv4 and has a cap of say 20 characters for the ip address, a 39 character IPv6 address would be 19 characters too long. If you are using windows, you can disable IPv6 and give that a try I suppose.
For me, and I'm obviously biased, I really really REALLY don't like lengthy tactical battles. Whereas, I think most gamers prefer in depth tactical battles. If a tactical battle takes more than a couple minutes, I'm unhappy.
I think this is funny because if you are as devoted to tactical battles as I am, they usually only take a couple of minutes because you know exactly what to do. The only long battles in the
Interesting. Do you think that this is limited to the campaign because the enemies are too powerful? I would guess that in a normal scenario or random map skirmish things would be more balanced.
I am eager to see massive scale RTS games like Total War running with this new speed boost. End of 2015 is a long time though.
How many cores do you see when you do this? http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-set-processor-affinity-to-an-application-in-windows/
Just a heads up... the final armageddon DLC for this game might actually ruin the fun for you. I suggest disabling it if you can until you get bored with the main game.
Didn't install it yet, waiting for the rest of my parts to come in (no point in installing it on my 5 year old machine really) My work computer has an SSD and I am very happy with it so far. Really nice when dealing with thousands of little files as a software developer. So here are things to try: Boot into your bios and make sure it is set to 8 cpus (4 + 4 hyper threads)... thats what I just read anyways Reinstall windows (which you will do anyways
In AOW2 you could make very powerful melee heroes by using items and enchantments. Without super high defense and double strike though, you couldnt be a one man army. I think the main issue in this new game is that attacks always do damage. If the chance to miss was still in, it would allow you to tank much better. I think lifesteal is probably going to be necessary or at least having healers on hand. I guess one last difference is that it used to be easy to avoid being
Yeah the cpu is a quad-core. Either it is faulty or you have the other cores turned off in windows. In any case, 3 years may still be under warranty from Intel. I just bought a 480 gb ssd for $230 because I want everything on my computer to be snappy. Hdds get slow over time from my experience. You can get a 240 gb for as little as $100, that would be the best compromise.
How big is your ssd? If it is at least 120 gb you can have both. 60 might be a little tight. I would say windows is probably the most important. Do you have a 7200 rpm hdd right now?
Are you using the unofficial patch? It is pretty much mandatory I believe.
