Many developers seem to ignore this or think that a tweet or two over a period of months is "good enough." It seems like such a no brainer to take advantage of the gaming community and also make sure that they know what's going on. Kudos!
When it comes to any game beta or final version i played, you guys by far provided the most

hmm 2 flaws with rant 1. LOTRO and WOW beta had bigger budget and bigger team. Elementals Release date is near and developing team is small, and sooo many problems to fix. Not saying it cant be done, but i think mods and updates is what going to make this game good, months after release. 2. If it sucks dont buy? Most people who are complaining or are concerned are people who already bought the game and are playing the beta b/c they ALREADY BOUGHT IT. I for one am rooti

I agree with the last part that even if user mods and later patches are the saving grace of this game, its the initial release that get reviewed and if not up to snuff will get shot down. I wouldnt compare it to MoM anymore. I wish you could. but as of right now i rather stick to playing MoM.... for now. But love to see some table top war campaigns mods or D&D stuff appear.
i think arrows are overpowered as is. i think that this can be solved by either decreasing damage or accuracy. we should be able to let loose a volley of arrows, but it should be augmented by terrain. if you are on high ground and firing into a valley then sure you should get big bonuses. firing into a forest however should give you big range penalties. you could give units with projectiles a certain number of

I find that some post are reasonable. Easy to fix and great addition to the game conflicting. Like people wanted the hero or champions to have more personality and skill. Great idea. But there were a 100 different ways people wanted it to be like. Improbable. Devs cant make super major differences to the game, and they are on a limited budget. Either case i enjoy seeing these ideas. At first i wasnt sure if StarDock would add them since b4

Really dont see yet how the Empire isnt the bad guys. Most of their tech tree falls under negative evil intentions, not to mention must they must destroy land to build on it. I think a more unpredictable evil would be humans vs elves or something like that. Fog of war looks SUPER thick. One of my complaints i posted in the suggestion forum

Kind of surprised i can run Company of Heroes or Dawn of War 2 maxed just fine, but this game slows down here and there. All things that are suspected during beta. But hopefully get fixed

But human race will die. not sure why anyone would want to see the extinction of the human race. I would rather see how humans evolve in another million years. I

Im all for the fog of war, but anyone else think that it looks too thick and obvious. I think making it less bright and less dense (but still blocking everything), would be a minor improvement.

im a little upset that i dont see any other races on the "light"/"good" side than just human. But i guess to change it would to be going against the lore of the game. Good thing about races in this game, is the amount of modding. Add elves, amazons, and call them whatever. Bad thing though, i think easy to use modding makes the lore of the game very useless. And unless i get drawn into the campaign, i dont see the point of buying a book or collectors edition.

1. Well its beta, and i assume there will be more options and traits. But i agree with the spells. MoM did it right.... again. It was fun putting points in several schools of magic or just one, and then there were the traits to choose from, each very different way to play the game. There was alot of different wizards to create. And you can create a wizard of nature or a wizard of healing and destruction or whatever. It felt right b/c each trait had different strategies . 2. I

lol about the cursor. I dont like it either. I never played a game where the quill (correct?) was facing upward. When i started beta 2 i kept thinking the bottom part was the clicker. And i did have lots of problems even when i adjusted to it when i click on one square it takes me to the one next to it. Maybe an arrow will be better during gameplay.

can i downgrade? I ordered the regular box version. I was excited about the original box version hoping for a nice manual full of lore. But i think the regular version will get jibbed, while the Extra version will get all the goodies. Rather not pay that hefty $10 shipping if im not getting anything cool in my regular CD version.

so is there a point on why i paid $10 for shipping me the CD version? Hope that has some goodies in it. Can i downgrade? Not sure its worth owning the CD anymore. Not a fan of the races. So human are the only race in the kingdoms, while the empire get a bunch of unique races? Well im sure modders will do their own thing anyways with the lore, since its mostly cosmetic. So gamers will have many options to choose from. Just keep doing a good job making the game mechanics better.
