There is a spell , "enchant farms". You cast in on your cities and their food production will increase. When your choosing sites for new towns look for food producing resources close by.
i dont think you have that spell if you dont select that class of magic.

I built my initial kingdom pretty close to where i start since there is tons of resources. But i cant build much after that since it say im low on housing, ok so let me build a hut, but i have no food. I research the hell out of civilization and get granary and all the food production stuff but nothing can be built. What happened to the basic farm? I cant even build that. And if this is my fault. How do i build another town to fix this? I cant build a pioneer since again i have no foo

Wow good to see not too many people here arent that excited about StarCraft 2.But i would love to see the CG story line. Like i said i think CoH is pretty much the definition of a strategy game. So much tactics. So thats #1 on my list. I like DOW2 but only the campaign. Multiplayer feels chaotic and not very tactful. Its like CoH is football. You line up your guys in a formation have a brief time of extreme action, And line them up again. DOW2 is more like socc

Im a HUGE CoH fan. one of the few RTS where if you place 5 infantry correctly you can hold off 20 other units. I played the beta of SC2. And basically i kept seeing spammed units. Basically people just creating 100 of one unit and then invade. It was so dumb. I really want to skip this game out. and as said i do feel that even thought this game took 12 years and like 4 million dollars to make, its basically StarCraft 1.5. All that money and time just to add 3d graphics

I remember seeing "The Matrix" for the first time when I was 16 or 17 I think. When me

If we are doing just conquest mode, last team or person wins. Will diplomacy still be just as helpful. Good luck finding a balancing act between all these. I mean they all play out very very different. Player 1 is building an army, player 2 is building up his town, Player 3 is focusing on powerful spells, Player 4 is doing adventures and building up his heroes, can diplomacy server a purpose in multiplayer?. Who will win?

That game worked so well and stands as the best of the genre because of the interesting characters and their interactions, the interesting world and locations and the story, which was fairly fresh at the time. Look guys im not into paying $10 to see a movie at the movie theater. But this is one movie that you shouldnt hold back on and you shouldnt download an illegal crappy copy. This should be the next movie you are going to see.Only reason i dont rate it #1 movie of all time for me, is that suspense and good plot dont go well the second time around. So seriously go make an effort to see it. When i walked out of the theater it wasnt like "oh that was a pretty cool movie". It was l

Instead, the resources that are within your area of influence and buildable should display a hammer icon on top of them to indicate that you can build them. If you don't have enough resources, display a greyed out hammer icon on top of them.
ya but in many cases, you have to do both f

best thing about the actual content is mods can change all that. So if stardock can make a great game with little to no bugs. Thinks like having too many Inns, or no elves, or no necromancy, or whatever can easily be made by the community.

Ok maybe not ever. But maybe ill put it in the top 5 of the movies i have seen in the past 25+ years. The writing was pure genius. To put something as complicated as this movie into words (book/screen play) and then make a movie about it, was no easy task. A dream within a dream, within a dream. I dont even know how to describe why i like this movie. I wasnt too excited to see it, i like comedies. but after my friend dragged me along and i sat through this 2 hours 20mi

OK so i built my first town. For some reason i was only able to build like 3 buildings, but couldnt build anything else since no food. No matter what i tried i couldnt build food. There was no spell to rejuvenate land after it was cast in my spell book, so how can i build another one? And since there was no way to build anything else i couldnt create food or create pioneers to make another city. So i went searching for AI players since i had lots of materials i could tr

So how will this game maintain balance with 400,000 items being created by modders? Sword of Doom kills everything comes with all spells available for download? I myself rather just download super mods. IE Total Conversions or Graphics enhanced mods. But i get what OP is saying. Using mana to build enchanted items wasnt a huge deal for me in MoM but it was one of the charming things that makes MoM a legend to this day. What ever happened to those devs?

hmmm guess you guys both missed the whole point. Frogboy said they are lacking in the animation department and are trying to work hard at getting good animations. So i suggested an easy way to keep animations simple, thus focusing on more important matters. But ahhh i guess you guys missed that some how...?

4 Replies 6,807 Views

Frogboy mentioned that the devs were having a hard time adding combat animation, since its their first time doing so many human animations in a game so i suggest maybe you can have the basic swing and have the basic "i got hit" animation. And maybe throw in like a slash across the model that is hit and some damage points over their head. A bit old school, but i think the slash and damage points adds eye candy and takes away the need for many complex animations. Granted

the problem im having with the fog, is that its so freaking thick and obvious and distracting. I think a more translucent or thinner fog will make things look better. It could still hide the same things just not so super thick.

wow good to hear that this game can be turned into a total co-op RPG or table top game. I dont have any friends that play geek games, so it will be nice to see modders create dungeons and other maps to have adventures in. Still would like to see the screenshots of the mod you did. I agree with your capitalism side. You do want to have a good initial review to boost sales and popularity. Reviewers will most likely go off your initial release. So you cant really d
