[crash/bug] crash/problem with load game

This is the first time I've run the game and it looks interesting. I have two quick comments from about an hour of 'mucking' around:

[crash by game]

When I loaded the game the orientation was completely wrong from when i saved it. I coudln't figure out how to rotate the screen or fix my orientation back to what it was when I saved (I did figure out how to zoom in/out); so I put the process in the background to check the manual (which did not explain how to rotate). However when I put the game back in the foreground it crashed.

[I did figure out how to rotate]

[load game not right]

Actually I can't figure it out; the loaded game doesn't look anything like the game when I saved it (I mean the map is a bit fuzzy) no matter what I do;  the interface is sharp but hte map is one fuzzy mess oh well starting over.

[This seems to be related to resolution 1680x1050; i had exited the game after upping the resolution but when i restarted it looked fine (last night) but when i loaded the game today it looked fuzzy; but setting the resolution lower fixed the fuzzy issue; I saw in your beta post that you recommend a screen shot and if i have time this weekend i will download the tool you linked]

Both of these might have already been reported if so I appologize.

lol about the cursor. I dont like it either. I never played a game where the quill (correct?) was facing upward. When i started beta 2 i kept thinking the bottom part was the clicker.

And i did have lots of problems even when i adjusted to it when i click on one square it takes me to the one next to it.

Maybe an arrow will be better during gameplay.

If you select hardware cursor it does a normal arrow. But now I have a hard crash and have to reboot. First hard crash in a couple of years; yuck [I don't think this is related to the cursor]

The blurry map is caused by advanced lighting; disabling it should allow you to get a clear image. Please provide your debugging info as per the reporting guide sticky though, so we can see your system configuration and isolate this issue.

Also, please provide the dump file for the alt-tab crash if one was generated.
