I'd like mine to be blue and breathing fire. Thanks!

Hi Derek, I found the problem. Like you said, the fire elemental stays in your enchantments until the next turn. If your fire elemental dies, and you save the game in that same turn just after the battle, reload the save game, he stays in your enchantments forever.
Its also strange that sovs don't seem to use mounts. I must have killed Verga five times, and each battle he only had 2 movements, so I just picked him off with mages and arrows.
Hmmm... well I know he had died a while back. Should have kept my save game. If it helps, I think I summoned him right before I attacked a city. He died in that battle, but I took the city. So he was summoned and died in the same turn, would that have anything to do with it? I'll try and reproduce.
This has been around for a long time, since maybe even WOM days, but the AI sovs seem to have some weird fetish for leather greaves. Not only that, but they aren't equiping their best armour. Here is Verga, he'd rather use the leather greaves than some nice chain greaves. Plus he has a helmet that is 6 defense which he doesn't seem to bother using. And a shield could help. <img src="http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t364/kdonahue100
I lost my fire elemental in a battle. A while later I was wondering why my mana wasn't building up very fast, so I went to the enchantments window. He was still showing up there and costing me 2 mana a turn. Here's a screen shot of the enchantments window: And my current units: <img src="http://i1056.photobucket.com/albu
If you have beastlord as a trait, a wolf lair can be a great source for new troops :)
Thank you for creating a fun and unique game! This was my very first participation in a beta and I very much enjoyed being part of the process. Its pretty amazing to watch a game change and develop over time and to feel like somehow I have some input into how it unfolds. I think there are still a few niggles, but overall it is a very enjoyable game and will do well. I will recommend it to my friends :) Good job, guys!
Lord Markin was slowly crushing Magnar, he took him from 4 cities down to 1. Lord Markin's power rating is 200, Magnar's is 20. In the diplomacy screen with Markin, the value of declaring war was 980. So I took it in trade for all his technology and was able to instantly learn 3 new research skills in the tree. Seems like an exploit if he is crushing Magnar without my help.
Kraxis declared war on me about 10 turns previously. Now I am getting messages from him pleading for my help from the powerful Markin. Shouldn't he try and make peace first before begging for my help?
I cast freeze on an army of 4 juggernauts. Then I attacked them. My corpse spider webbed one of the juggernauts and was successful. However the juggernaut still moved 1 movement per turn in tactical with the web around his feet.
ah, nice
I only bought two right off the bat, cause I start with wealthy. I used one in a battle and on the strategic map it still says 2 afterwards. It still says 2 several turns later.
There wasn't a treaty. I think when you click to attack a city it should ask you if you want to declare war. Right now clicking on the city doesn't do anything.
Yeah, its not just Dark Wizards after playing a few more battles, still other magical opponents.
It could have something to do with the temple and the AI being in the fog of war previously to me revealing them on top of the temple?
Sometimes in these battles where I tame a beast, a unit of mine who was injured or killed in the battle will be alive and fully healed after the monster is tamed and the combat is over. Definitely some strange stuff going on, but its okay, because I really like this trait :)
Interesting. I'll have to try that. Usually though, I find that if one sov doesn't want to talk to me, they all don't. I'm not sure what the criteria for being too busy is.
But he refuses to let me talk to him. He says he is too busy.
I don't know if this is supposed to happen or not, so I thought I would document it. I was just scooting past a fell dragon and an obsidian golem, and next thing I know the fell dragon is flailing about like he's being attacked. Then the Obsidian Golem dissappears. I hovered over the Fell Dragon and yup, he's been quite damaged, and I'm guessing it wasn't the scouts standing nearby. Here is the turn before the attack: <img s
I attacked a Dark Wizard who uses his clock of fear. After that my 3 units were constantly missing him because they were afraid. I think I only hit once every 10 attacks. After about 5 rounds, he casts Despair and flattens my units. I tried the battle several time with the same result, all my 3 units die. So, then I tried using auto-resolve. With this, I win and only lose about 5 hp off 1 unit. Tried it a couple of times just to see i
I fee like a noob, I must be missing something. I had three armies surrounding an enemy city. When I selected one of the armies and moved the mouse over the city, the cursor turned to two crossed swords, but clicking the mouse did nothing. I wanted to declare war and attack. So I tried to engage in conversation with the sov I wanted to declare war on. He just says "I'm too busy right now...". So, how do I attack? In the end I had
Maybe it is just lost temples it can't collect?
Yeah, I wasn't saying it was a bug, just felt weird. But I just did what Jmiddleton suggested and sol it at the shops.
