slam causes victim to lose turn. bash is the attacker losing a turn.

I have a saved game where I get attacked by Ceresa at the end of the turn in one of my cities. This city has 6 units in it, but not all of these units take part in the ensuing battle, in particular always my mage unit. I thought it might be because there is a maximum number of units that can enter a battle, but no matter what I do, I can't get the mage to take place in the battle. I tried moving three of the units out of the city prior to the battle taking place, but the
In the campaign when you have to fight some trogs to get the boat, there was a spelling error in there, but I can't remember what it was off the top of my head.
Some good ideas here. I like this demi-boss shard idea as well. Maybe the more shards you have, the less hp the bosses will have in the battle. That would be a much cooler ending.
Hi guys, I just wanted to suggest a different alternative to the spell of making, which at the moment, just feels a bit anti-climatic to me. The Conquest Victory is the only victory that feels like a dignified way of winning currently, but it can be very slow and tedious to send your armies to mop up the world, especially when you way outpower the other factions. So, I was thinking, instead of just the conquest victory, it would be good to have one fina
Once in a while as I'm playing, I look up at my research bar and I notice it says "no research". Now I'm not exactly sure how this happens, it might be loading a saved game, loading an auto-save, or maybe I hit cancel when I have selected a tech far down the tree which has pre-reqs. The thing that bugs me is that there is no warning saying I am not researching anything. Is there any reason not to be researching anything? If I click end turn, can I get the resea
Sometimes water and borders dissappearing is a result of low memory. There is a memory leak in loading saved games. If you restart LH, they should come back.
Does no one else think this is weird behaviour? I have auto save on. It is turn 5 and I press end turn. Between turns 5 and 6 I get attacked by a cave bear and lose all my units. I reload the auto-save and it is now turn 6 and my army is back alive as if they hadn't been attacked and I can now move them away from the cave bear. Isn't that strange? Did I not explain it very well the first time?
When I reload an auto-save game, it always seems to save to the beginning of the following turn, which is wrong. Let me explain. For example, I change my auto-save to occur every turn. If I get attacked between turns, and I lose, I can re-load the last auto-save and it is now the beginning of the next turn. My unit is still alive, and the enemy hasn't moved. Yet, its my turn to move again. Shouldn't reloading the auto-sav
I'd like an option for the computer to randomly move me in any direction. And then an option to randomly attack monsters or AI opponents around me. And then an option to randomly pick which armor and weapons to take into combat. Maybe I need an option on my computer to even randomly pick which video game I play today or even if I play one at all! Sorry to rain on your parade, but I can think of a million other things I'd rather
I just think there should be more benefits to not spamming pioneers. City level ups should give more bonuses like production increase, more gold, etc.
There are other benefits to levelling quicker such as more hp or being able to equip weapons and armor that require certain levels.
I agree with the tactical targeting. I know tactical battles aren't suppose to be the main focus of the game, but it seems to be where the majority of my time ends up. Especially with the current issues regarding auto-resolve.
Small bug that should be fixed - the escape scroll (which exits a tactical battle), the description says it returns you to your capital.
A couple more things: I find it annoying that on a fresh turn, and I have a hero with 5 movement in an army with a movement of 2, that the hero can't exit the army and move 5 tiles that turn. Even if he was in the army and the army moved 2 tiles, he should still have 3 movement points left to then move somewhere else if he chooses to. I find experience from combat perplexing. If an enemy factions' army attacks me, and they have numerous units in gr
1) Tactical Combat AI Enemy targeting is too one-dimensional. I know that the AI will go after my weakest unit and that it has a one track mind. I have actually discovered if I put my weakest unit in the back corner of the tactical map and surround him with my units, then the enemy ceases to move because they can no longer reach the target. They need to have more than just a primary target. If they can't reach the desired unit, they should
I just wanted a good fight. The game I had started previously (before 1.1), the AI I was at war with kept moving armies out of cities when I had troops threateningly close. And not just a couple of units, they would vacate all units from the city to go exploring or something. I wouldn't have been able to take down the city if they had left units behind, even just a couple. I thought that was one of the issues addressed with 1.1, so I was looking forward to some goo
No, they were just standing still, turn after turn.
I've been at war with Gilden for a while now in my game. They declared war on me early on and have been pretty much twice my score the whole game. And yet I have never seen one enemy Gilden unit. Now there is a separation of territory between us, but I still found it strange that I hadn't seen them, even when I was moving near their territory. Anyway, after many many turns, I finally decided to go on the attack. The first city I attacked, Andrucia,
I've had this issue a few time in games, sometimes what happens is my army gets cloned when moving out of the city instead and I'll have the same army in the city and just outside it. This was the first time I was able to have a saved game though where it consistently happens every time.
It takes effect on the turn after you have spent a full turn out of any cities.
Is that by design or a bug?
I tried the auto-combat, but still nothing happened, still just frozen on the pack drake's turn. I also noticed that the pack drakes numbers didn't decrease as their health went down, that is until the combat froze.
When I attack a drake and his two pack drake companions, as soon as its the pack drakes turn, nothing happens. The drakes never take an action and the combat stalls. The only option is to auto complete the combat. Happens every time I've reloaded the saved game and played out the combat.
