I usually hate when people tell me to do that but... Just mod it. It takes 5 minutes even with my lowly skills! I know, we shouldn't be expected to mod our games into shape, but since we pretty much swallowed the bitter-relase pill... This really isn't a concern for me :)

Yes i know... But those that work are Egalitarian and Resourceful! :p (I know, there are others too... Master archer, great warrior... Never understood if deathworship works or not...)
imagine how much you can dump into the child's essence by the time the child reaches level 8!
Not hard. +21 :P But then you should add bonus % too...
Just read your post in the other thread and I was about to quote you... Now I can second your concerns in an appropriately made thread, thanks! This bothers me much, because such little touches could add a lot to the "early" depth of Elemental- Since we're expecting bigger changes in the future, it would be nice to, at least, have SOME faction difference in the meantime. Long-story short, seconded!
Many thanks for the changelog, it looks interesting!
Well in the gold release the familiars and stuff with mana but no spells could cast any spell you knew that they had enough mana for. I liked it that way. But it got changed in patches. Don't know if it was an Accidental change or what. But I miss having 4 casters and 4 imps unloading fireballs in the first round of combat.
Yes, casting was removed from all summons. I recall even the Bear from "nature's ally" could
These threads of 10 pages of drama bombs does nothing to help you, stardock, your friends, or really any person who actually believes Elemental has great potential.
That screenshot is going in the right direction (for once), did you already test it out? I would like to know if there are glitches wich such a large unit...
I would love for Sovereigns some deep customization options. Then let me decide each game if I want an uber swordsman, a battle caster, an invisible mastermind buffing his kingdom or anything else... edit: or what Alborelli said, sorry pal, I should read more before posting ;)
Actually, I'd prefer WeGo to just adding more numbers ....
Oh, but this is just the original request. The rest of the thread are people bitching about a total war battle system (wich was never asked for, I recall TW being named to give you an option about unit sizes) or NO MOAR UNITS on screen (again, never asked for, we're talking about figures in a squad and ongoing animations to show them fighting even after the
I have TAB mapped to one of my mouse buttons, trough a nice little application known as X-Mouse button control
Thanks for the info!
Count me in! I'm all for the tweaking of some numbers to make things more Epic. Maybe insert a "squad size" option, like in total war, to scale numbers for low end machines. I think some of your detractors didn't bother to read your post or all the replies. Others wrote some very accurate posts about "why" they do not want what you propose and I can understand them!
That is a majority so that makes you naive to think just because you and your little troll friends don't like the game that the majority doesn't either.
Hardly. Since, probably the great majority of those that bought the game aren't aware of such poll, but they can read "multiplayer" on the box.
Go play chess with a decent AI, and tell me how much that does resemble your little brother. I'm sorry Psychoravin, but you really sound like you never tried some serious 4X games.
I agree with Falconne and Hairrorist. Also, notice that in the event that I avoid : Rushing, city spamming, mass summon exploits or glass cannons; I still have Sovereign SuicideAI . Or should I even avoid conquering enemy cities in order to keep my enemies alive?
I never found strategies in Civ to be endlessly evolving.
And, just to be sure, you find that is the case with Elemental? I wouldn't define Civ strategies as "endlessly evolving", but at least you have options, in Elemental the only variation I have is : Start with metal----> Warhammer rush--->Steamroll Start without metal---> Mix archery with Diplo units with Summon--->S
that would mean doing some research of the product or service online. Yes it is time consuming.
No. It is Illegit . Simply because you shouldn't need an internet connection to buy software. All this could be solved by putting the EULA on the box but, guess what? That would make sales drop.

I do not need to suffer fanboys lightly.
I just wanted to point out that you'll get a bigger crowd by being kind. I actually am with you in many of the point you made about the game, but "fanboy" is an offense, or as such it is perceived. I couldn't care less if you're blunt or not ;) but in doing so, you're shooting your own feet. <p
