Thanks for the tips, but i have a new question. When I imbue it cost 4 essence not 3. Why is that?
Probably because you have some essence bonus. So you lose 3 for imbueing, but since those 3 had (for example) a 33% bonus, you end losing 3+1=4 MP
Wow... I have 1 Lcd + 3 ashtrays +1 beer, and thought I had a great setup...
Yes! This proves my theory that, given enough bugs in a game, they'll start cancelling out each other at some point! [e digicons][/e]

How much CPU power was used to reach the moon? A couple c64?

I've seen a lot of your posts around stating they should "just redo MoM" and, while I agree that a 2010 version of that UberClassic would rock, it's clear that SD has other plans for this particular game. I'm not atacking you or anything, just pointing out that what you
Someone still has to adress the one point I made - that for AI succession likely won't be a big help, because of the nature of most 4X games. Once AI loses one sovereign, it is likely already in the process of being mopped up and it can't do anything against player's overwhelming army.
It would still be better than "your whole kingdom disappears", at least in my opinion.
I wish I played the games you played where the stock AI was as good as the modded AIs. Or so good that modding the AI isn't even a thought
He's actually right. AI is one of the most "Organic" parts of a game, and it's also one of the hardest thing to tweak. Usually you want to build the AI around the features. I'm no expert, but many modded AI are just a shifting around of "weights", that effe
Either way, a single spell being OP or bugged is not a big problem, you can either wait for it to be fixed or nerf it via mod. The lack of some very basic stats, used in many other similar games, concerns me much more!
We can do extended range, but it would be a bit funky. It would function like a ranged ability attack, so it could pass through a unit to attack behind it. That's not really ideal. Grappling turtles... Or maybe its a "Martial Arts Training" kit that roots both units and applies a bleed to he tar
Also IIRC, the option to raze a city appears in the city summary screen (the one where you have the "rename" option), after you research said tech.
You did a grat job, really! This will make a great addition to the game, my only concern is that something like this should have been in the game since the beginning, in order for the AI to be build around it! Still, I cannot thank you enough for such a nice addition! Here's a little [e digicons]k1[/e] for you! edit: Err... natural male enhancement??!?
I have to admit, I have no lost faith this game can be anything close to a masters of magic replacement if this is true, if they cant add magic resistance between spells or other factors becuase the AI is to weak to handle it, well there goes any reall use of different magic schools except there reskinned damage dealers. No reason to not to use a fireball on a firegiant instead of an icebolt etc. Or my unholy hero doesnt
Stop fanboying between two different 4x games. You should never pick between them, you should have them all.
I disagree. I think Elemental is very enjoyable in its current state, and it's only going to get better.
[e digicons][/e] I respect your opinion. But still I'm totally unable to find the game fun ATM. There's no strategic layer, no balance, no AI ---so--> No game, just a sandbox "let's see what happens next" mode. Much more than a couple of bonuses not adding!
Hey, city BUILDING is awesome imho! Now, city management and specialization are seriously lacking, but the building thing? I'm ok with it (playing with words here, do not get mad at me!)
The thing is though, do we really need to have a competition as to which games are the worst now? Is that the real defence... because if you are reaching down and saying hey, these games are worse, I'd say that is a problem in itself.
Absolutely not :) I love both games, and I'm sincerely baffled by the amount of people bashing a franchise like Civ wich, IMHO ("h" not being a sarcast
I'm with Nick on this. I fail to see how the option to keep playing as your son would detract from the experience. Save/reload is discipline, is handled differently in a lot of games and has different consequences in a lot of games. Baldur's gate, for example is the kind of game where you have a binary situation, you either SURVIVE an encounter, or DIE (and reload). 4x Games have more breathing room, you rarely have a 0/1 situation and are usually able to recover from your losses in d
