This also happened to me and I think there might be some sort of invisible "Troll Warrior" somewhere. I received a "taunt" message from one and none of my units or cities where adjacent to one, nor could I see a single one on the cloth map or the regular. After ridding the Wildlands of enemy units, I moved on once nothing happened, but left three Pioneers standing by inside the Wildlands, just in case. A dozen turns later, I set an offensive unit to move through the Wildlands on

When I log in to check my upgrade price, only the full price is listed. I was a preorderer of WOM. I think I even played an alpha they released to us, or at least the very earliest betas.
http://screencast.com/t/ZTBmNGUw So there is a horizontal bar graph on your cities that shows your housing cap and current population. I thought it was creative when the food cap icon was a part of it, too, although I like the game better with global food. So now without the food cap icon, the bar is a bit of a uni-tasker. Maybe that screen real estate could be used differently. A lot of us liked
I think it's pretty clear that the sovereigns demand the worship of their people. Or you could say there is one dark religion and one light religion in the game. There's no need for other religions in a game of this nature.
It's becoming fun (although not challenging)
I want to be able to steal items from Sovereigns I defeat in battle, even if they aren't vanquished. Before they teleport home, I at least want something cool for defeating them. It would be especially galling for the defeated. Also, It doesn't make sense for my sovereign to fight with a spear while his troops fight with swords. How about the Sovereign's gear can keep pace with his technology some how?
Yeah, now that the beta is coming together and starting to be fun, I want them to fix this and make it good and well thought out. Don't care how long it takes, I'd rather this wasn't swept under the rug.
Why would a shield you find in a random goodie hut have YOUR royal seal painted on it?
Grouse [e digicons]>:([/e] I've done you one better: https://forums.elementalgame.com/379844 The space bar is the hotkey for ending your turn. Try holding it down and never responding the the first prompt. A lot of times, the game eventually crashes, but it's probably not the turn-ending that does it. That this problem remains from 1G is what tells me person
Hmm, depending on what order the math is done in, you could end up slight ahead by picking both (or slightly behind!)
Please take all the time you need to make a masterpiece. I'm really not concerned; I've already paid for the game. -An actual Elemental beta tester
Mag, I'm surprised you got so many turns into it! I normally crash and find that my saves weren't valid long before that!
Has marriage been removed from 1Z/1Z1?
When I canceled the lumber mill in my queue, the forest that it was to be built on disappeared. This has happened two out of two times I've tried it. :(
Is anything working in diplomacy? I haven't been able to trade anything, make dynastic agreements, etc... I've been able to get a couple of treaties to work and that's it. What is supposed to be working?
Frogboy (I think?) stated in a video that this is most often fixable by making sure all of your units have moved. I've fixed it a couple of times this way, but one time I had to save, restart, and load.
Hey they fixed it! (in 0.299) Who's your favorite beta tester?
My game session crashed immediately after OK'ing the combat results of defeating a regular soldier and a soldier who started combat with zero health! http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5321787/Elemental0_299-2010-04-10T23-55-55-845.zip I don't think the debug.err says anything interesting on my last turn... And I'm not saying that I'm certain of what caused the crash, I'm just saying that after I hit ok it crashed.
Are you sure that it is/was your Sov? Because it has 50 HP... If it's your old Sov...well what can I say....weird bug for sure!
It was a sovereign I'd created and wasn't using during that session...
I found another fun CTD bug: if you capture an enemy city before you've built your own, the game CTD's ProgramData log: Dropbox
Hey all, Just encountered an odd error in the game while doing my spacebar test . The game didn't crash after a few hundred turns but I noticed an odd-looking bandit next to my Sov. It had the name of a Sov I had created during Beta 1G but it was a gray NPC standing on a shield-shaped pedestal like a Bandit, Steppenwolf, etc. does. This was during a fresh session: just newly opened the game,
Second try doing the same thing: http://pastebin.com/Jmp9aFyU This time no prompts ever popped up and the game crashed anyway. I had zoomed out and scrolled so that the Sov would be visible even if a prompt displayed, but none did and I was never attacked.
I caught this during 1G too but it didn't attract any forum attention. Basically, holding down the space bar can break the game. The turn changes rapidly even while a dialog prompt is up. The prompts stack up and can be addressed one by one if you let go of the space bar before the game crashes. I skimmed the debug file myself and it appears that bandits and ogres attack somebody at some point. It's my suspicion that the game crashed when my Sov was killed but
Game did not crash on open for me, with same OS and similar characteristics (including having a dual monitor set-up) But the game did just "hang" on me after demolishing a couple of gardens...
I noticed that there is only one race in Beta 1Z, I was like what?
