[1Z1] [Bug/Almost Crash] End turn button became grayed out and unclickable

Somehow ended up in a state where the end turn button was no longer clickable.  I can't think of anything I did to set this off.  I had a pioneer selected and was waiting for him to arrive at a horse tile (the one east of the starting location).  I believe this may have happened the same turn he spotted a neutral group (Hornswaggle maybe).  If it matters he was taking a long route from the south as my city was blocking him.  Pretty sure he was in the forest 2 squares south(ish) from the horse.  Another thing of note was that I Alt-Tabbed out of the game to write this report.  When I Alt-Tabbed back the screen was black but the music was going.  I have Alt-Tabbed out successful before this with this build.  Had to cancel the task to continue.  Game was pretty far along when this happened (probably approaching turn 100).

This has been reported a couple of times before - see here, and I think there are one or two other reports.  It was a problem in earlier betas, but was fixed and has now resurfaced in Beta 1Z.  The best theory about what's happening is in the referenced thread, that there's a popup window that isn't being shown, so that you can't respond to it.  That certainly would explain the problem in every instance I've seen it, since I can load saved games and on reloading each one I get a popup about a new tech having been researched.

Frogboy (I think?) stated in a video that this is most often fixable by making sure all of your units have moved.  I've fixed it a couple of times this way, but one time I had to save, restart, and load.

Well, I hope they fix it soon, because as I recall the first time this hit me the only unit I had outside any of my towns was my sovereign, and he had already moved his max.

I have had the same issue.

Save...exit...reload is the only way I was able to get around it.
