Each level bonus should be gold production. That should handle your money problem pretty quickly. Throw in some workshops to deal with material production. So some (female) member of one of the Fallen races has access to the Enchantment book. We could easily add a Fallen Enchantress to the game already using the custom sovereign creator.
In the final one, the clipping with that rock and fence in the front doesn't look as great as it could. Putting something tall there would also help with visual balance. Maybe scrap fence and rock both and put a tallish building in that corner? Also it seems like that central main building could have something fancier - maybe get some of those runic patterns like the tent roof has in 2 and 3? Maybe put some additional thing on top of it, but that would have to be taller than the curre
Fixing those first two points is the major focus of FE. Terraforming changes are probably going to be involved to some extent, although maybe not a whole lot. Ocean changes will almost certainly be included, though the degree to which they're included might be unsatisfying. Faction differentiation is something Kael is great at, and is likely something that will happen increasingly as he remains in charge, though as far as I know, it's not a specific focus for the future. WhiteElk, coding things is a nontrivial pursuit. It is not affordable for Stardock to add things they don't intend to even use. As an aside, "cannon" is a thing that shoots; I beleive you mean "canon".
Done well explorable dungeons would break from the main game and have the player play a "minigame" for 10/20/30 minutes after which he would be returned to the main game (assuming he remembered what he was doing there).
But the same could be said for all tactical-level interfaces. If you want to avoid taking away from the strategic at the expense of ground-level gameplay, does that mean that our tactical battles are never going to get more depth? O

Yeah, Stardock forums are really a bunch of disparate things that only sometimes overlap. WinCustomize and JoeUser and Impulse and Stardock and all the game-specific forums all have boards that can't be seen from anywhere else.

Well, as someone who doesn't have those, here's my thoughts. 1. That sounds like it would be a constant drain on system resources. Of course, logically, I know that it's probably insignificant, and I don't consistently use much resources anyway. But logically, I also know that it's an aesthetic thing, and could end up being distracting and/or annoying to me. Besides, I have all these nice wallpaper images that aren't animated. What would I need animated wallpaper for? I probably would

It looks like nobody answered this: You won't get the expansion for free. That deal ended at the end of the year. However, Stardock is doing things a bit differently with filestructures and whatnot: If you buy E:WoM now, you get the expansion discounted and at an expansion price. If you don't, it'll be purchasable as a full game. It's going to do more with tactical combat and exploration; combat should have much more depth to it, and it might include some form of espionage, although nothing l

If your character is lustful, you might get a bastard offspring (or choose to "Resist the URge" and earn
This seems like it requires far too much investment to be gamebreaking. At most, it could be viable, but I strongly suspect it needs more than that to back it up on any reasonable difficulty.

This makes me think there ought to be some (very expensive) terraforming spells that spawn resources. Fertilizing the land would then make sense.

The fans ask for a lot. But the cool thing about Stardock is, they'll give it to the fans. If it's a little thing, it'll be in a patch. If it's a bigger thing, it will be in an expansion. And then the fans buy the expansion and get what they want, and Stardock gets money (which is ultimately what a business wants) and everyone is happy. Edit: also, what AlLanMandragoran said.

If it's merely a minor emphasis, then that is likely to be counterproductive. If you use profanity to enhance the terribleness of your rage when you well and truly wax wroth, then what you say is accurate. But at that point, word choice is likely to be a side issue.
Elemental is intended to be a spiritual successor to MoM. It's the same general idea. Elemental handles spell books differently, and also has quests. And you design units. I'm not sure how soon the demo is slated for. But if you really love MoM, you'll probably quite like Elemental.
