I notice that the 3d models in-game lose a lot of the vibrance of the 2d art. This isn't always bad - the big earth fellow looks good that way, as it blends him well into the landscape. But that snake is on fire, and his fire really should stand out more. I'm not sure how best to fix this, or if doing so would even be reasonably possible.
Cruxador
I use the largest setting. I normally like the largest I can get, but I don't think Elemental benefits much from going larger than that.

Regarding Steamworks - I am entirely in favor of Stardock selling games that are also on Steam. However, Steamworks is a big part of reason I don't use Steam (the other being that the sort of games I like to play are mostly only on Impulse anyway). If Impulse can get those games without the DRM, then they should. But having titles with that DRM on Impulse will only serve to alienate the userbase, and, as Fistalis said, encourage people to just use Steam instead. There are things Impuls

Some of those things sound a little iffy. Giving a city to a hero to be its own faction? How do they even serve you, then? But this is a good idea in general. They could also ask for things that benefit them that you might be inclined to do anyway, like outfitting them in armor (or giving them a horse or a sword) or imbuing them. PS you can have my wife, she's already borne me the maximum amount of kids anyway.

I mostly just don't like the name because of the implications of the single-entity focus. Elemental is a strategy game; I don't want to be worrying about one specific person overmuch unless that person is me. So either the Fallen Enchantress is not a significant portion of the added gameplay and the name is misleading (most likely) or, worse, she is, and I have to deal with this crazy bitch causing trouble all the time. Either way, suboptimal. Edit: I am not skilled at naming,
For additional flavor and features, I think you must wait at least until Fallen Enchantress. The gameplay of War of Magic, which you find to be uninteresting, is unlikely to be subject to any significant changes.
Oh hey this thread is revived. That poor woman's chest seems to be constrained to a very uncomfortable degree. It is likely limiting her breathing. And she appears to lack any physical ability whatsoever (the 150 points available reinforces this). So I guess she should be kept far from the front lines. Which is the proper place for women? Is that the message here?
