playing the game for a while now i have a pretty good idea to pass on about how to make multiplayer more fluid and fun.research and building should have set times to complete not turns this is the same for unit building ,units can move around the map freely but after say moving 3 blocks they have to stop for a cool down before moving again if the units in the game attack they enter a tactical battle which goes in to truly turn based mechanics also leave the option for auto resolve.the resources would be set to come in at sins of a solar empire set rate being more for each resource held ,adding the ability to combine units from allies and fight together in tac battles would also be a good idea,as a long time modder i think the biggest problem with this game and oom errors is the fact that the turns are causing it it has to store all that data and then the end turn button is pressed then it has to build,move,attack,upgrade,destroy,create,etc all in that one turn its too much goin on if everything was more fluid and not having pauses the game could operate at a set ram allocation insteed of being bottle necked i love the game guys im not bashin at all just thought long and hard about this and this could reshape this game big time for the future of the gen also it would break some rts,turnbased molds to be one of a kind.tell me what u think its always welcome here.later
