Adventurers
So adventure creatures really dont feel terribly different from any other creature in the game other than appearance, name, etc.
It would be a wonderful thing to have some way of influencing/ encouraging Adventurers to do something beyond stand/ shuffle around the map much like the other creatures in the world. After all, for anyone who has played dnd or a role playing game, we know very well how these adventurers would be acting.
Since Many of the Tech trees will need a significant boost, its possible for additions to be made where, for mere speculation, adventurers can be approached to clean out infested regions of the map or tackle quests for a certain percent of wealth. Given that 'eventually' there will be a time when some civilizations within the game will not need be combat oriented, this would present a nice option in dealing with such a task.
Creature Spawns
Ends up that there is complaints of how the creatures spawn, how large they can get (seen level 69 with several thousand health...). I personally have been attacked by insta-spawns far outclassing my heroes who are two tiles away from home. Not terribly fun or believable.
A nice method of curtailing this problem would be Creature "Hive" locations that spawn on the map. We all know that in a fantasy world we are going to come across a Bandits camp where those bandits originate, and Spider's nests deep within the forests. If these were to be the places where creatures spawned rather than at semi-random points on the map, Players would have a much easier and believable approach to dealing with the problem. (Right now I have no reason to send my City Keepers into the forest.) In following this path, the world would become far more logical as the player could appropriate where these creatures are coming from, how to approach dealing with them, and finally..a way to get rid of caravan attacking insta-spawns.
Furthermore, this could be built off of once again within the Adventure tech tree, and the adventurer idea I had posted above - For example, in a "Majesty" like fashion, a certain tech would allow these spawning points to be the focus of Adventure creatures for a reward.
Loot Drops
Probably the shortest of thoughts, it would be nice for items to be dropped in lieu/ addition to the gilder found after battle. I've just battled 30 well armored guys yet I cannot find a single pair of greaves or a dagger. The items should fit the situation (No magical sword for killing a cudgel carrying bandit), but the absence of any object other than gildar gives me less incentive to attack creatures for profit.
