Following some bug reports - even in internal testing they are already catched, I want to ensure that the quality is the right one:
Gameplay:
- Brilliant should provide a research point but only starts to fire when build the first structure in a town (workshop)
- Unit designer shows all stats within the digit with the exception of the overland movement. Whether no or all value's should show the digits.
- Why has the peasant a base attack of +1 but the observer or newly build units don't have this benefit. Therefor, the observer is more expensive without added value (and by the way, I would therefore all the time only upgrade the peasant and never build a new unit)
- Oasis takes 5 materials and 5 turns to finish, provides x (see UI for problem) food, farms needs 10 turns and provides 4.8 food.
- The units which have joined the pioneer should be garnisoned after the city has been created and not moving one step next.
- If I click the Kingdom report and click on the previous and next button I see all the info for the other kindoms/empires as if they would be my own..Is this a bug or is there a reason behind?Additionally, it shows only the tech level for Civic and Warfare, the others are hiddin?
UI:
- The Hiergamenon needs a back to index button.
- Hut -> hover over the provides: people 25 gives the message: Population. Someone could take this as missleading as this is the amount of pop cap raise.
- Special tiles provides no feedback how long they need to be finished before you start the production.
- Some of the texts from adventuring doesn't provide you enough feedback - e.g. If you gain some knowledge from the past (is this research points? if yes, how many?), or if you receive some materials.
- If material and gold was available and materials were completely spend, the frame around Gold is not right. This is true if you had 3 types of resources and it drops back to 2 or less.
- Oasis: card and hover text displays 6 foods provided, in the city report and in the text on the bottom right of the UI it states 9 foods.
- Spellbook needs still some guiding hands.. If I enter via the Kingdom Info or via the small details button on the bottom middle, I have two bottons to click for research - one in the book and another one in the border. If I open the spellbook via the Sov, there is no border option avialable and feel right.
- Units -> Range of view: After creation, this is nowhere shown anymore.
- Improvement -> Market: provides 1 gold but as notes and in the card on the left site, it states that it provides +25% economy?
- Cards show only 3 line of text (those cards on the right side) for the city improvements even there is more text available.
Equipment:
- Messenger Pack should provide +1 to overland movement instead of +1 sight
- Scout Pack should instead receive the +1 Sight and remove the +1 to armor
Short opinions:
- It seems like that in the balancing metal and material is equal but metal is currently a more rare resource. E.g. Spear, 5At, 5Gold, 2 Material. Dagger, 4 At, 1Metal, 1 Material. So, the current rule is somehow: Att in gold + whether 1metal+1material or 2material. I didn't went further in the research tree (was this time a click next turn game).
- Further balancing with regards to gold income has to be made. If in the beginning your adventures are negative and there is no Gold mine available someone can be pretty sure that it will be a very taff game - I would go so far to say there is no chance to win.
