With the new 10 turns to build a Pio, you can fast track your economy before the first one is even built let alone gets out to a Resource tile.
If it is within the Towns border you can now just click and build. Costs are the same and I assume Turns required seem to be the same. It does seem that the Techs are still in the Tree but I guess that is so if you need to send out a Pioneer right away, you will have the required research tech available. Not really an issue given a SoV always starts near a Farm-able tile... <span style="font-size:
For MP we could use DC to affect the "Perceived Value" of items. Based on whatever Formula works best, the more DC you have, the better prices you can ask for Trade goods. Not quite sure how PV's are generated currently but tying them to DC seems a natural linkage. If a Tech cost 100 Gildars base, having a DC value of 50 would then make the "Perceived Value" then be 125 Gildars. <span style="font-siz

It does seem strange, even now, that when I recruit a Merchant type AI, I don't feel compelled to send them to a Town so that I get the Bonus he/she provides. It is global now right? I recruit, I get the bonus. Why not have a non-combatant be forced to be in a Town to provide their Bonus, and if the conditions arise that you need an extra body in the filed, you can buy them Gear, that they can upgrade with, unlike

I have a generic SoV and he has, by Level 4-5 12-16 Mana and 4 moves (max) How is anyone getting say 8 (was an example given) X2 mana per Magic shots a turn? What is/was your characters Combat Speed (base moves)? Moving uses 2 CS and Attacks 1. I could cast 3(x2) times over 2 turns (12 Mana pool) with my guy. If you don't move, Magic works great as is. A tad OP perhaps. Auto-resolve is a crap shoot as it doesn't account for Magic...
32 bit or 64 bit, it doesn't matter. The game should not EVER run out of memory. They will (have to) fix it before release...

So, the issue is, if you capture an Empire town, with Worgs, and then create/build a NEW unit, its available mounts are shown only as Horses?

As of 3C the Tactical battles are sour. Any Attack and your unit is frozen in place despite points remaining. bah! 3B was actually not bad. Currently working as intended. Minors can't grow. Who owns them doesn't change that fact. One issue I found is that every Minor faction has a spawned protector unit. Sadly it doesn't actually protect the Village from attack before it is taken and can't be made use of after.... strange.
Town bonuses are the cause indeed.
There are many many components to a release. All have to be brought together at a set time for the full deal to be completed. Some can't be changed, like say the manual which requires being sent out to Printing well in advance, Boxes, pressing disks etc etc etc etc. So a date was set and will be met as the game is coming along nicely. FWIW. The same is true for the Icon pull downs on the Right hand side. Very particular about where you have to Click to get them to open and collapse. They have always been that way is why I mention it.
