A monster's inititiative shouldn't go so low that they never get a turn, which seemed to be the case with Torax. I think his initiative must have gone down to 0.
There is a minimum of 1, which means if you have 18 initiative against an opponent with 1 initiative, you will have 18 turns every time he have 1 turn. Just noticed the Glyph of life spell, which is supposed to grant Regeneration to stationed troops in a city... At the beginning of combat.. So what is the point of this now? ^_^ Either it is using a spell which have no effect, or the tooltip is wrong, I am not going to cast it and wait to be attacked. Sincerely ~ Kongdej

I really like the idea Firefly, might make champions more fun flavour wise, and less generic.
I'm not sure anymore if these kind of suggestions will be in (release). Modders will take care of that though:)
Its really sad to hear people say stuff like this, I really want the vanilla/core game to function, a game should not only be amusing if you plop on some mod on it, it will go bad, trust me. In fact, many statisticians would disagree with the fact that there is no strategy in randomness. There are plenty of strategies that need to be considered. The question you pose is not a gambling question it is a strategy question.
I state that there is no strategy in gambling... mostly because I suck at typical gambling games :P (J

Have been looking at the sovereign and faction creation tools, and the biggest annoyance so far is that you cannot see what the race do when creation factions, and you could not see what your faction did when creating sovereigns. So I have made some pictures as a suggestion as to where you could put this info, namely in the big picture area in the right part of the screen, where you look at your faction colours / sovereign. Lets start with a look at how the Faction creation sc

Slow is being severely reduced in next patch, so try to be patient It will be lowered to -3 initiative, and an additional -1 per water shard as far as I could tell from the current patchnotes, I don't think this is for certain since they might decide its a little too little. I personally would like to see the minimum initiative be slightly higher (2 or 3) instead of 1, since 1 initiative only gives half the amount of turns than 2, so the last 1 debuff is so powerful). <p
Ophidian has Magic Immunity. But it gets half damage from Flame Dart and full damage from Burning Hands. Maybe rename Magic Immunity to Magic Resistance. Giving heroes 1 xp for each 2 turns they are in a city would never get out of hand, and would allow "governors" to actually hit level 4 to gain the governor trait. Also this would not be a thing to stand and wait for, since its so little xp that it only counts in the long run, but could help those poor starts where your sovereign is surrounded by 1 trillion wildlings, bears and dragons without anything to level off.
