The truth is both gold and mana is valuable resources, and both can be used to each they're ends. They are both good, and if firefly want to play without using mana, thats fine, that is why I like spells like alchemy, I remember there being a different feature in MoM. Gold is just used in huge chunks from the shop, those prices are insane for leather armour. Also I use gold for rushing city stuff most of the time, 75 gold can go into 6 ish turns of production on the "

Got to use auto explore since I build these fantastic slave scouts, and at some time turn 60 I had completely forgotten about my auto exploring scout, and by turn twohundred whattheever I get a popup with my old scouts face upon it saying: "Directive Cancelled: Error. No auto move directive." I was first puzzled since I had nooooo idea what was going on until I zoomed back to my fantastic scout. I tried to click "Explore" again since part of the map was still black, and it gave the sa

Noticed when constructing scout slaves that when I hit 0/0 encumbrance the encumbrance would show some weird unreadable number, this is in no way major and have little effect, but should be fixed at some point ;). Sincerely ~ Magnar

mid-term technology really depends on map layout, but after some playthroughs I usually go: 1: Civics. (Civ Tech) 2: Knowledge, then Mining (Both civ techs) 3: Training, then leatherworking (Both Warfare Techs) 4: If I have horses, then horsetech, if not then go to 5: 5: Pump civ technology until you reach: Education, Cooperation. (Both Civ Techs) From here it varies a lot, meaby magic tech, meaby go for craftmanship, meaby more warfare tech.

More movement, more movement, more movement, gain xp, gain xp, half-kite stuff to get less attacks in combat to save more hp, charge archers round one. Stuff like that I think the movement for boosted units is too high compared to the non-boosted version, I always try to maximize it right now since more movement = more xp, which also gives more of all the other attributes for heroes.
You can sell resources to AI sovereigns for really good prices. For example, you can sell Crystals for 5-12 Gildar per piece. So Crystal Quarry really gives 5-12 Gildar per season. Imho overpowered.
I think not, you are effectively boosting the AI's ability to pump out mage troops, also as I noted you can only sell to them when they have less than 50 crystals (or so).
