Hi there, this have probably been seen before (But not patched yet, so you will hear more about it! ^_^) The AI decided to put up this outpost on top of a mite lair, which seem highly.... nevermind. Screenshot up there, have highlighted the outpost for you, you can see the green symbol of a lair ontop the outpost (Its a mite lair) <a href="https://www.dropbox.c

Am I the only one thinking its directly stupid to find a hero for hire with less abilities than what his current starting level would allow Take Joffery for example, a level 3 Altarian hero standing in the middle of nowhere waiting for someone to come pick him up and pay him a wager, but he IS a level 3 hero with only 2 abilites, leaving him a little unwanted, by me anyways.<b
When I click in combat next to an enemy unit, then 50% of the time the game decides for my unit to attack the neighbour, even if my intention is to defend (No it is not because I am clicking on the enemy unit, I have taken extra care not to hit them when this happens) Usually when it happens, it stays the entire fight. I have little means to support any proper info on this bug, so I will also ask if anyone have any bright ideas how to report this highly annoying issue, that basic
The other items, so far, have another use besides selling it (herbs, weapons, spells, books) and value, this is the only item that has no intrinsic use EXCEPT TO SELL. M4-rk was just snuck in (nobody has reported it before this week, anyway). Unless the devs are dangling it in front of us to play with our emotions, what other use does it have except to sell at full value? And if it only for sale, how can it have a separate price and

Or is it already here but I somehow missed it?
No "we" (thats me) use dropbox to share files... www.dropbox.com hope it helps And upload function would be nice, but that would be on the bill of Stardock, taking precious resources from our games!! xD Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I honestly hope the devs gets access from you guys, and use these in the game too! Also wish I had 10ish background and 10 ish symbols so I could mix and match those parts myself. For example having a battleaxe, then choosing a background that matches the colour of my faction. PS, love the latest fire additions murteas edit: And heavenfall This is good stuff Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Nope you can just cast freeze or tremor (not even very hier tiers of elemental spheres) or have distributed forces all works just alright. So does tornado, pillar of fire or firestorm in different yet effective ways (as an enchanter those options even work offensively in neutral territory thanks to arcane monolith. Zone of influence does and should matter a great deal imo). I get along without it in most of my games allright. (until mayb
Nice thread, tried to use them once, but they just walked around and died. Also this game need to update its unit designer if you ask me, the editing of units feels weird, instead of being able to design a new scion you have to edit the old... Either that or the editing of old units is a bug and scions are even more rubbish. ;) I do agree with all you said. except the bug, mostly cause I haven't tested it, bugs do tend to get more notice when posted in a single thread thou
I agree that trading could play a bigger part in this game, I would love to see more caravans, "Pointlessly" moving between my cities, and nearby trade partners. Instead of trade agreements hanging over the course of the Main city alone (Making the first city WAY too important) I would much rather see some kind of trade goods resource being made from cities, which determines the current trading power you currently have. Then the more trade treaties you have, the better you could tak

A few turns of warning when one is attacked is what I want when the enemy is at the gates. If the game where ment to be played with 7 movement speed
Well, for something that has no use (you can't use/equip/beat someone to death with it) and all you can do is sell it, the value & price should match. So why there is no game mechanic to do this directly is puzzling.
I dont want roads all around, honestly, even in games where it only have benefit to build roads on every single tile (older games) I do not do this due to the incredible poor visuals this gives to a game. Taking WOW as inspiration, you could use the water line to introduce all kinds of freezing spells that slow down enemy units, or give you a % chance to slow down enemies. You could have spells in the earth line that throw up rock walls on the battlefield and you could put lightnig spells in the air line that stun opponents for a turn or two. Stuff like th

Hi there, you may want to upload the "Debug.err" next time you run into a crash. It will help finding the correct debugging information for the developers to help fix the bug that crashes the game, I am happy to see you hit the right forum sub-section (I had some trouble with that ;)) https://forums.elementalgame.com/415301 That link is to the official "How to report an Issue" thread, which goes through where to find the "D
I think it would be a good idea for you to group up your bug findings and post new threads with them instead, this here just gets to be an eternal list and is difficult to respond to, might just be me anyways. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I think for one we need less movement speed buffs for tactical combat, and slightly larger tactical combat maps (20-50% larger... yeah thats slightly!) that for one will make me feel like archers are actually not just useless versions of melee weapons, and the small combat maps help ruin my feel for tactical combat (Entering melee on the first 1 or 2 turns with the proper traits/armies) That said I dont think a trait is entirely the right direction to go to lower initiative of
Since we know city building is getting the next big rework I think that leaves diplomacy as the weakest part of the game (assuming the new city system is done well). I'm curious to hear what others think or what the team has planned in this area.
Funny, I think it makes the hero level system the weakest link ^_^. (Along with some tactical combat issues I have right now) Nice find though, a lot of these items are
I am trying to figure out how to answer your question, but I am pondering whether you are asking for a patch before "Beta 4" or whether they are going to go to the numbers "1.00" for beta 4. I hope they don't start going backwards in version numbers anyways, going to be a mess ;) I am pretty certain they are working hard for another improved version though, where the land will be filled with cookies and uni-ponies.
Quoting Kongdej, reply 10I think it would limit the viable selection of spells during a game if you NEED a caster with earth magic and you primary magic to cast Terraforming spells, id much rather see it either be the main focus of Earth spells or dependant on magical research. How about both ? You could research it OR you could level up a caster of yours, saving you the research points but forcing you to dedicate
