[Bug] [0.915] Units deciding to attack

When I click in combat next to an enemy unit, then 50% of the time the game decides for my unit to attack the neighbour, even if my intention is to defend (No it is not because I am clicking on the enemy unit, I have taken extra care not to hit them when this happens)
Usually when it happens, it stays the entire fight.

I have little means to support any proper info on this bug, so I will also ask if anyone have any bright ideas how to report this highly annoying issue, that basicly breaks the idea of tactical combat by taking my options away from me.

Edit: Forgot to put in the title ^_^
Edit 2: And put it in the right forum... Duh

I've noticed this as well.  I haven't been able to lock down the exact times it happens.  I do know some times it has NEVER happened to me though.  So hope this helps!

ANY unit WITH an ABILITY, regardless if it is in cooldown or not, NEVER auto attacks.

by ability, I mean anything from combat abilities like stun, to hero summons like Summon Uteran, to spells, or equipment spell abilities like darkling cloak -blind.

Now you mention it, my sovereign stopped doing it after I got enough spell levels to cast spells in combat (life 1 and earth 1 doesnt seem to add combat spells)
As soon as I had... errh. "loaned" someone's ability to cast air magic he stopped being an idiot and started listening to what I was saying.

I think this is a design decision, you'll notice you don't have to hit the defend button after moving units with out abilities like we had to in older versions of the beta.  I see why you might want to defend with a unit instead of attack, hopefully they will fix that without making me click that extra button each time.

If so, I would like to be informed ^_^, it seems very much like the odd behavior of a bug :)

that seems odd behaviour - when you move any unit next to an enemy unit the unit sometimes attacks

this doesn't happen if you move your unit next to two enemy units, only if the enemy unit is alone

problem is if you want to cast a proximity spell and your champion attacks physically

Same here. I figured I was being careless and actually clicking on the enemy instead of the space where I wanted the unit to land before attacking. Nevetheless, if it happens to people and they're sure they didn't press on the unit then it might be an (annoying) feature. Not being able to adequately position your units around or next to enemies leads to lost turns.
