Right now FE is too buggy and "rigid" for me to enjoy, and the thing I Crave from Master of Magic is the vast magical accessory to the game. and not just alot of spells, but different ones with all kind of weird effects (and side effects for some). What I miss when playing MoM is... Graphics and User Interface. that is why I wish for FE to have a more solid User Interface, because that really does alot in the long run. (and changes the first impression too ;)) Right now

Will be back to FE later of course. I figured you might get a kick out of it. You are about as hell-bent on getting Umber back as I am about getting a Magic System that isn't monotonous.
MOAR MAGIC! Would love to see the devs give
I've seen lots of maps where the starting location had nowhere to build, and others with one or two poor tiles in an otherwise barren landscape. Experienced players may appreciate the extra challenge but newer players, on levels normal or below, should be presented with a decent starting location. A good starting location is a force multiplier and the developers could easily use this, instead of crippling the AI, to adjust th

That would be cool, and frightening.
This is a thing I miss from "Master of Orion 2". sometimes if you were "winning" over an AI, the AI would surrender To Another Player giving you sincere trouble going onwards in your war, since that would provoke a new war with a bigger faction. Especially due to them moving "real time" in the eyes of a new player. Sincerely ~ Kongdej

Sorry to disagree, but I would like to see more things done to make the first city LESS important instead of more important. ... Ok I am not sorry ;), But I think boosting the research and production of your capital is a bad idea. I did write them a huge post about the current cities in another thread, so they know how I feel atm. And hope they will use 1/10 of the ideas :D. Also would like to see less "rush" for a 2nd and a 3rd city, mostly because I feel I need to put that one dow

I like to see the suggestions here, alot of stuff they could do with the spell of making. I would like to see it start some global event, as long as the caster is channeling the spell, the world gradually changes... somehow. Meaby monsters are spawning? something interesting to make it feel epic :D More flavour text and timers are really a good idea though. Sincerely ~ Kongdej

I do think TBS games are better suited for casual multiplayerneering, where the players involved sit in the same room, though, but can help me relax. First 50 turns its better to run on No taxes settin

Id say have them come equipped with basic weapons instead of nothing, basic being slightly better than a club please, like 1 handed spear, or dagger, and a wooden shield. Meaby one or 2 pieces of leather armor, so they arent all too squishy. I would much hope they won't come out naked, due to being very fragile, like all the low level heroes around ;) Sincerely ~ Kongdej

You can only use them when you're close enough for the other guy to engage in melee on his next turn. That totally defeats the purpose of having a one-use range weapon. The bulk of the post/reasoning is still valid, because I believe the end goal ought to be making so many valid builds for different situations that it encourages players to have well-rounded armies (with certain units being more effective than others depending on the particular opponent--e

Your plan shows promise for more interesting strategic play, but can the AI even hope to effectively match it, or is it putting something else into the game that gives humans more advantage over the already struggling AI? So many plans look good on paper and then are horrible when implemented--life sucks like that. I won't blame the devs if they adopt a "can't go there" mentality
