Frogger needs an update. It should include trolls shouting verbal abuse and distracting poor froggy.

Damn, I should be looking for a sand totem around here... I need a golem to take over my day job.
Can we have an option to have our caravans controlled by the AI? I often forget that I've built a caravan, or I send it out in a certain direction and then forget about it, and since its not part of the normal "find next unit who hasn't moved" command, it ends up sitting there for yonks. It would be good if we could just have a setting we could turn on to leave it up to the computer to manage them for us. Civilization lets you do the same thing with workers whe
Maybe the champion should be unavailable for x number of turns as well, healing up in a medical tent or something. It would be annoying to defeat a tough champion just to fight him again the next turn possibly healed up with some potions and just a negative trait as punishment.
Good on ya, Jon. I bet you were working on the FE Beta while these other slackers wasted company time. You're an inspiration to the team!
I disagree. The Russian winter is highly relevant. As is the scorched earth defense that the Soviets used. They're relevant because they were defenses the Soviets relied upon to defeat the Nazis.
True. If we could have a spell that damaged units while they were in your territory, this would produce a nice similar effect and a good defense against stacking using the withdrawal and prepare a counter attack approach.
My above points are pretty much how Germany lost World War 2. Germany basically stacked their army and marched into Russia. Russia kept withdrawing further and further into their territory, and the German stack moved with them leaving German cities lightly defended. Because the stack had moved too far away, the stack couldn't come back and help defend Germany when it was then attacked by England, USA, etc. The cold russian winter didn't help ei
Or the AI could launch a counter stack and attack a user's lightly defended cities. Or the AI could abandon a city if the odds look terrible and withdraw to another city where it does have time to gather an appropriate army. Or the other AIs could hear about the size of said army and somehow determine that this probably is your entire army and decide to try and attack your weakly defended cities. There are lots of options to deal with army stacking.
Next year you'll have to dress as some historical tyrant, Julius Caesar or Attila the Hun. You got to keep those fun-loving slackers in place!
Too much fun.... Derek how could let this happen???!!! Tell everyone to get back to work and get me my FE Beta! Hup Hup!
I'm pretty sure Heavenfall explains which directories the files need to be extracted to. Go back to the mod threads and check in the description for each one. Oh, and I think you just need to have the "Use Mods" ticked, and then they automatically become part of the game.
I'd want my city there too. Access to fresh fish, my kids could take a nice dip when its hot, I could wash my clothes and myself so I don't smell like raw sewage and offend my pretty wife, etc. etc. But in seriousness, yes, distance from other cities should be a big factor in the AI's choice of next settlement for defensive purposes.
Hear hear! Thank you Frogboy and thank you Heavenfall! I haven't had a lot of time to play 1.4, but when I do play it, I'm really enjoying it now. [e digicons]k1[/e]
Yes, thanks for all the hard work. Just installed 1.4 and this mod last night, and I was actually enjoying playing WOM again.
I'm at work at the moment, so I won't be able to play it until I get home, but it looks very interesting. Love the artwork.
I think Frogboy must be feeling frustrated. Every release its lots of negative comments with few positives. However, I agree that WOM can't be called done. I think there is a good game underneath it all, but yes, glaring bugs need to be addressed. Keep it a work in progress, or abandon it altogether.
cool. Is there a maximum level?
Any suggesstions for me? Any other information I can provide?
I'm still trying to work out whats happening to .NET. Sounds like it has been dropped. I wonder how similar the new windows built in libraries will be to the functions we used in .NET. I hope its not going to require us to rewrite our software.
I don't know which bits of this you need, so I'll post it all... --------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family Manufacturer: Intel Corporation Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family DAC t

Whose the hottie in the quest window? Is that the Fallen Enchantress? I'll catch you miss enchantress... [e digicons]:smitten:[/e]
Derek, You said the spellbook button is on the bottom left of the screen when clearly it is on the bottom right. Epic fail. Now I'm not going to buy FE. Just kidding! This looks awesome!!!!! All these changes sound like the UI will be much more intuitive than WOM. I can't wait to play. I really hope this game is a success for you guys. (Actually its true I'm no
Tell me about it, needs more realism. Magic should be about pulling a bunny out of your hat, or finding the jack in a deck of cards. And why do I have to marry a hero? Why can't I just pick up some drunk chick down at the local inn? And whats up with teleporting, huh?
They need a spell that teleports us to behind Black Knight's chair where we can proceed to give a much warranted wedgie.
