1 mp per turn per caster? children are auto imbued?
so.. how does imbuing work in 1.1? (without digging through a few hundred pages that is...) i mean currently, the sov sacrifice max mp to give someone else some max mp... with shared mp, does it cost anything?
the idle pop up thing... if it checks and pops up every turn, might need a per city toggle for turning it off, if there are no option to build something to "create wealth" or similar...
didn't someone say it's bugged anyway? (or at least road warrior bit) has anyone seen roads upgraded btw? i haven't played long enough to see it (usually give up on some excuse like bugged quest) oh yeah.. point 2 is very valid.. solution 2 sounds good but need to make sure caravans follow routes rather than do their own thing. mind you... what are the chances of someone marching a unit between cities to "improve" roads &nbs
does that mean a lvl 0 settlement founded will immediately get the 1 ring instead of waiting until next turn?
if it's not repeatable it shouldn't spawn more than 1 in the whole map surely. need to get rid of spawning altogether (ie appear only at map creation) and change how research works.
[quote who="larienna" reply="103" id="2812061"] the 2nd is a bit like elemental insofar as it's basically the same engine as genghis khan 4.. but it's fantasy based and there are dungeon explorations, etc.. again, can't remember details. don't think they came out in english though. http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/products/products/ee/Rlroyal2.htm Is there an english version of royal blood 2 (Aka Gem Fire). I always wanted to play but could never do it because of the
how about recruiting npc by marrying offspring off to them...? for that matter.. is there a limit to the npcs available in the game? might be interesting for all npc to seek marriage and have their own offspring. otherwise a tad silly having all those grannies... and then only channeller offsprings and nothing else after a few k turns.
speaking of cloth map... why is it at the "wrong" angle by default? (90 degree off i think, according to the alignment of the text labels).. i think the goodie huts/etc can be a bit more prominent on the cloth map
registered on impulse means it's registered, doesn't it... what other registration is there?!
underlying concepts such as dynasty, city building, etc are good. the execution is less so - eg.. offspring on the whole is bugged. they need to be more randomised. just because a father is a weed doesn't mean the son can't be hercules! ever tried the ghengis khan 4 game or royal blood 2 from koei? the 1st is basically a strategy game just like romance of 3 kingdom/ambition of nobunaga. though one of the more interesting bit
got the egg.. but oddly it appears as a piece of equipment and not item.. going to the lvl 4 dungeon where i think i started the quest (just about the only dungeon left on the map that i can see/reach.. ie.. within zoc) nothing happened. http://drop.io/caocyge
i selected magnar sov + faction to see if i can select the custom empire as ai. no go. --- loaded the game and played a bit more... no crash yet.. but bugged quest.. so stopped playing. also there was a baby->adult that appeared in the capital. but with pic in dynasty still showing as baby. save/load fixed that.
not yet. one thing i noticed just now is that the custom empire i created (and used in above game) can't be selected as an ai faction.... a kingdom one i created in previous version (but loaded and re-saved) can be.
some text bug.
the person who posted after you talking about 2x free expansion pack.
no idea why. maybe you might know with the 2 autosaves + crash .zip http://drop.io/sg8ggw99037 it coincides with research finishing - one of the magic armor/weapon/item or some such i think. problem info from windows. the other alternative is to simply reveal all of the sites.. except with a big question mark or some such instead until you've researched the relevant tech to know what it is and explore it. or lots of generic dungeon types - tower/dungeon/etc... with no specified lvl stated. research past its (hidden) level will allow you to explore/etc. instead of all towers being lvl 4 or what not, you have lvl 1 - lvl 5 towers, etc. ie.. no spawn at all.
don't they only spawn when the ai (or you) research the tech?
if you have win 7, try the "snipping tool"... quite handy for screen shots.
switch most hero special abilities to local instead of global and make them improvable + allow exp gain whilst sitting/working in a city and you'll get a lot more weedy type heroes doing what they should be doing instead of wandering around imbued. that leaves room for improving the more outdoors type to be killing machines. eg embedding a hero gives a squad better morale, better defence, different abilities, etc. obviously need to be a way of switching them out. <
don't have a save for it.. but it appears you can't stack ships. or rather, when you get the 2nd ship, it got stacked into the 1st one automatically, but if you split them, you can't stick them back together again. or is that just me? only noticed it when landing on the west coast of final battle, didn't even notice i had 2 ships in the stack (was wondering where the 2nd one mentioned in the script was!)
the problem is that race and factions get blurred in this game for some reason. you would have thought all those 6 human factions (5 kingdoms + krax) are from 1 human race just different factions.. but it isn't. they are all separate races and factions which doesn't make much sense. this is eminently noticeable when you create your sovereign/faction. i know that the lore page says human race are subdivided into the 6 races, but still... obviously it might make sense if
thought i should point out that it was a campaign started under either 1.08 or 1.09. then loaded under 1.09e049 from the autogenerated save game named end of chapter 1 (or some such).
