right. non aggression. that's the 3rd treaty after tech/trade, right? had that.. i think the problem was, the city centre square was the only square out and i can't move into/past that.
i managed to have one of my heroes landlocked in a corner by a "ceasefired" npc faction's city.... apparently you can't just walk through them like your own...
mind you.. there were some messages about some idiot bumping into a nasty monster lair/etc (not immediately before that)... think that's what caused it? still.. it shouldn't just appear when loading savegame..
question about the charisma stat. does the stat matter only on the sov? as in.. will you recruit the same npc at different price depending on who's near it? (so.. up wis/ess and cha for lots of imbue?)
i think i didn't research it at all, yet lvl 3 stuff mentioned above spawned upon loading savegame.
i just got magic 1 shoted by some empire unit. apparently hits everything on my side or some such by 10 hp.
is it me.. or does loading save games sometimes do strange things to unit stats? take for example a squad of 4 men. let's say half wounded and showing only 2 men. save game... has anyone seen them reduced to a 2 men squad with full health upon loading game? how does hp work in a squad anyway? if you lose half or whatever the hp, can you heal it back to max hp of the 4 men if you rest in a city? or is it lose enough % and you lose a member of the squad permanentl

no savegame... i'll see what happens the next time i come across it. i think it says linked and producing 0 / 10. can't remember if it was 5 square or not. can't be more than lvl 3/4 city i expect and within zoc. then again it was 1.01 i think
is it me.. or are they sort of 1 directional? as in... if you look at the screen at the starting city, you'll see the destination name and the % in the relevant section but when you look at the destination screen.. the starting city name will show up with something like (no caravans sent) or some such would be nice if there's an option to auto build caravans that got destroyed instead of having to figure out where it went, etc. even better.. keep the rou
what i'm more interested in... is why the pre-made factions have so few boxes ticked... do their extra points contribute to something else? for that matter, does the extra points in sov creation just goes missing? as for delete faction... maybe try right clicking it? someone else found that works for sov.. maybe it might work for factions.
in a 1.05 game, i had it within the walls and the pop cap works. does that mean it works only when within walls?
in 1.01 i see a refugee camp which has something to do with 100 pop. built it remotely, but the city pop cap didn't reflect that. updated to 1.05, ran a turn and nothing seems to have changed. going to start a new game to see if it makes any difference. does it have to be walled in? is it supposed to just up max cap by 100?
+ Summoning spellbook no longer available at start what does that mean? no option to tick at ruler creation screen? it's still there --- spoke too soon. now i see they can't be ticked... odd that i could have sworn i was able to tick the box the first time i booted the game after the patch..
ie... stop me from dragging the minimaps/etc bits all over the map inadvertently... sometimes i mouse scroll or something all over the map and somehow grabs one of those ui bits and drag those instead. would be good if there's an option to anchor them immobile. (or if there's already one.. please do tell me what it is.) thanks.
it would appear that when you have active town enchantments when you have low max mp (i had 11 or so), casting imbue champion will crash the game. the link is to a savegame where it crashes when casting directly imbue champion. it doesn't crash if i dispel all the town enchantments (10 mp) before casting.
