Yeah, I do know that. My primary purpose in suggesting some sort of Essence bonus for Towns and Fortresses is so that it is not an automatic decision to make a 2 or 3 primary essence city into a Conclave, which is pretty much a no-brainer right now.

I don't think one more main menu option would clutter up the screen that much. It would be just a "Hiergamenon" button, which would open the whole thing. And if they want to make it even more user-friendly, they have the option of calling it "Help" and only use the Hiergamenon word once you choose the Help option. This would help link the two words in gamers' minds without having to do much work.
Devs - Follow Seanw3's example for scouting abilities! [e digicons]:D[/e]
What are your suggestions for boosting the weak faction traits?
Along with the boosted enchantments for Fortress cities, it would be great if Towns got some sort of extra bonus for essence, perhaps extra food or food for the entire empire. It doesn't necessarily have to be huge, just enough so there is a tough choice between Town, Fortress and Conclave for high essence cities.
Maybe HP/Defense/Initiative/Fire Damage Bonus (whichever it is) = essence + (Fortress training level - 1). Anyway, I'm sure the Stardock team could explain it well. Having this feature just makes it a much tougher choice between Conclaves and Fortresses for high essence cities. And really, Fortresses should be the best at training very powerful military units, with or without magic help.
No, it is not fixed. It shows the item at the bottom of the Battle Results Screen, but it never appears as Loot or in any inventory. Needs to be fixed!
Just a reminder: Juggernaut, Henchmen and other special unit traits get carried over when you change back to a regular army unit. Changing from the Special Unit to a Male or Female unit should always reset the traits that are active and special unit traits should not be available to regular army units! This is especially unbalancing when a regular unit can get +40 HP per member, or huge splash damage, when they are only balanced around single Juggernauts getting them. Essent
I think it's excellent to put the game's help in the starting menu, as it is quite clunky to have to start a game just to view the Hiergamenon. Why not have Hiergamenon available always on the Main Menu? =)
So each City Unit Enchantment on a particular city that currently does +1 per essence (Aura of Grace, Aura of Might, Aura of Vitality, and Heart of Fire), Fortress Enchantments would add a +1 for each Training Level above 1 for each of these spells on the Fortress when the unit is trained. This would give a good reason to make a 2 or 3 base essence city into a Fortress, as if you're training level is 3 or 4, that's an extra +2 or +3 to the City Unit Enchantments which boost trai
I like these. It would be good for some (or all! =)) of these could be implemented. [e digicons]k1[/e]
Are there any of the Bandit Lord ideas that you like?
Because the Norton program itself considers anything unknown as unsafe. It is as simple (and stupid) as that. Honestly, I would never trust a program that simply classifies anything it doesn't know as unsafe. What are whitelists and blacklists for? Anything that is not on a blacklist and not on a whitelist should not be automatically classified as unsafe, and should definitely not be deleted automatically with no option to keep. :-(
I think a lot of people could get upset if their units get attacked after choosing Master Scouts, so I think it is an excellent idea to change the text for the Master Scouts Faction Trait to say "Protects all units from attacks by monsters, except Denizens of the Wildlands".
Please fix this!
Very important! Devs, fix this with a high priority!
Big bug!
Will there be any changes between this and the last beta build before it is released on Monday? I very much hope so. And what do you mean by "You need to build militia now"? Do you mean troops, or do you mean cities will have no inbuilt defenders? I hope it's the former.
Please fix this for the next version! Once in fifty turns should be good. Is it is possible to have one roll for any random event, and then a roll for which particular random event (excluding those that have already happened in this game) rather than a roll for each separate random event?
What do the Devs think? Frogboy or Derek?
What about when you get Master Scouts when you don't have Tarth blood? I don't think it is related to Tarth blood currently. I think it is most likely that they were Wildland denizens. They are immune to Tarth's unit attack immunity. ;-)
Bump, very important.
From 0.984 changelog: Monsters that get freed from their lairs by ZOC no longer wander very fair [sic] into the distance
I think levels (without XP bonuses) of trained units, especially Henchmen/Sions, need to be added after they are trained.
