(I know the forum-goers are not the whole player base, but I think on the forums there would be a lot of the most interested people playing the game right now due to buying into (or getting free) the beta.) 1. Would you support a test option of no-XP splitting for heroes? 2. Would you support game options for higher base experience and higher Tough fight experience, to see whether it makes the Legendary Heroes concept work?

Trained units are a lot more powerful now, and heroes a lot less plentiful. Why not give the no splitting a try?

Yes, this is a very important thing to fix! Currently you earn much more experience defeating comparatively weak mobs and get penalized when tough monsters kill some of your units. Of course they kill some of your units, they're tough! Why get penalized for that? Especially when standing together (no formations currently) + Dragon + Frying on first turn kills a whole lot of your units BEFORE you've HAD A TURN. You have to get the risk/reward balance rig

I don't think the trait of a hero and the trait of trained units have to be the same, it is just they are usually the same, but only for intuitive purposes. Heroes don't get multiple figure boosts to HP, so the hero trait needs to be bigger for the one unit.

Maybe swords now need a base of 2 counterattacks, with the Wanderlust swords getting 3 counterattacks. After all, even though axes and spears don't get extra attacks every round, they can do early 2 or 3 enemy attacks when they close with the enemy. And they don't require the enemy to hit them first (and swords don't get any counterattacks against spears, so it is even more important they get extra counterattacks against other types of units).

Maybe the Adventurer trait could make it so the Sov always gets full XP, even if the heroes' XP is split (Sov would count as a hero for splitting, just would not suffer the split). Although I would prefer it if All Sovs Always got full XP (except vassalized ones). This is a midpoint between no splitting and always splitting, and it makes the Sov more special and able to attain more power even if with other hero/es.

It would need to make sure to trigger the square too. But if any battle (against monsters, or against AI players) if you defeat the last enemy, you should move automatically onto and trigger the square. Probably so many would use this that it may as well become the default, which would help the AI too. Although it could be an option each time for players and an always-on for AI, so for example, if you defeat an AI player's army sitting on a resource, you may not want t

Just like the Rats in the Ruin quest - there are two variants, one which you lose a few hitpoints and don't have to fight, and one where you have to fight a corpse spider to complete the quest. They look identical at the start, it's only when you go to the barn that you find out. Note: this is an early way to get a Corpse Spider if you are a Beastlord. =)

Yes it would be much better to have separate upgrade paths for fire and ice. And while we're at it, could regular melee weapons upgrade to magic weapons (spear to ice spear, axe to burning axe etc.) or have a separate option ("Upgrade to Fire Weapon" or Upgrade to Ice Weapon) if there are regular physical only upgrades already available? So you could upgrade a Spear to an Ice Spear (using "Upgrade to Ice Weapon", or a Spear or Ice Spear to a Boar Spear or Pike (using "Upgrade

Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete. Always crashes with DX error. Also, sometimes a notification from another program causes a crash. Sometimes you have to respond to it for the crash, sometimes just having the notification for the other program appear crashes with the DX error. Are these fixable?

It happens occasionally. In past versions of FE it happened a lot more though.

No. A unit is either in a city (which means they appear in the city garrison) or on the map (if they appear on the city they are considered on the map and not in the city). When I used Broken Loyalties back when it cost Influence it put the units outside the city, which is what should happen.

Yes, Civ4 always prompted you to choose something for the city to do immediately the last production finished. All it would need is a loop that goes through immediately after any city completes something to check if the city is idle, and then give the option to choose something to produce, one of the special Produce functions, or specifically choose Idle (if you don't have any thing to produce, although that early in the game you are always building structures or units).

Also, the Troll hero is only 2 movement whereas regular trolls move 3, and the Ogre hero is only 2 movement while I think regular Ogres move 3. I think all heroes should have at least the amount of movement that their monster counterparts do, and the rest of their stats balanced around that (if necessary).

Yes, that tech points trading bug definitely needs to be fixed and squashed!
