You never know, with one more mention - some things don't get fixed for ages and then one more mention catches the devs' eyes, and it gets fixed. =)

Or it could be the research points bug which allows AI players big bonuses on research points that are traded between AIs.
Save the changes you want to make in a text file, so that if it happens again, it will be easy to still update it easily.
Sorry, thought the message didn't post the first time.
Why not just have a trait (or traits) that are repeatable or boostable that require all general and class traits to be learned and add a certain amount of certain stat/s each level up (you could choose which stat boost you'd want perhaps)?
It should be blocked when you reach minimum hitpoints.
Or even better, have a switch that disables completely all Tower diplomacy penalties when Spell of Making victory is turned off.
Some good ideas mentioned here, NaytchSG.
And how long it has taken Elemental to become playable? I'm not criticising anyone, but once you've released a buggy game, it takes a LONG time to clean it up. But if a company does it twice THAT's when it is worth majorly taking into account.
Possibly by a percentage rather than a fixed number, so high dodge units suffer proportionally to low dodge units. Or even better, by a percentage but have a minimum dodge reduction number too for heavy armor. Does Champion Armor have penalties, or not because it is special magic armor? I would be comfortable with no penalty, and everyone can wear, because it is late game gear and very expensive too. Also, you will have to work out where Light Plate and Masterwork
Also, webbed spell-casters don't cast any spells (though they will continue casting a spell they've started casting) and no units will use their special ability. So melee units will use a normal attack against adjacent units, but they will not use any special attack ability such as Crushing Blow or Cleave (but includes all special melee abilities, and ranged abilities are out too to ranged units like regular attacks are).
Maybe they'll be changed to give an initiative bonus? Yes, it'll take a lot of work to go through all the kinks.
You'll need to work out what happens with the Skath Pit Empire improvement too - this Empire only upgrade makes the line of buildings +60.
In FE I once went from only a small amount of mana in one battle to over 2000. I had a high spell mastery and that air elemental sure loved trying to cast Titan's Breath! It gets boring after a while. ;-)
They don't all attack at once, it just looks like it. However, the swarm bonus means that accuracy and attack is increased (attack at least is increased for each figure in stack), but units like wolves and Urxen get 3x swarm bonus. I think it is meant to be 2x.
Unfortunately, sarcasm is often misinterpreted on forums and mailing lists when there is only text and no measuring of body language. ;-) =)
What is the best? While there is some consensus, there will never be total consensus. ;-)
Opinions are opinions, and everyone has them. Even gamerankings and metacritic are a kind of averaged opinion. But instead of having a big fight about who is right, why not just accept that you have different opinions? Because unless an opinion contains factual errors (and there are not many "true facts" in this world) then they are all right, but are the result of different value judgments. Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic has a great atmosphere but not very good AI, thou
For subscriptions for "forums.elementalgame.com" the link includes "forumsbeta.elementalgame.com" and leads to a 404 not found error. The links produced, at least for elementalgame forum posts, need to be changed.
But how will the experience of playing using these other settings get to Stardock? Don't the modded games generally get less priority?
Actually you can eat pie in the sky if you can fly... and we all can, in one way or another. =) Well, it was in reply to the end of page 1, you can get caught with reading a thread from the start and then replying after the first page. ;-)
Gone But Not Forgotten. =)
Yes, this is a very long-standing bug, going way back. There should be some way to intercept tech completion announcements and not show them if you win via Spell of Mastery. You could still include that research in the score, but the tech completion notification on the same turn as the victory needs to be cut.
Devs, what are your thoughts? Can you provide a higher default XP rate (or option to do so without editing game files), better rewards for tough monsters (especially Dragons with the fire breath and monsters with high attack and overpower or maul), and some form of Formation support? I think we need all three.
