A guaranteed way to make LH (and FE) crash... (Win 7 Pro 64-bit)

Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.  Always crashes with DX error.

Also, sometimes a notification from another program causes a crash.  Sometimes you have to respond to it for the crash, sometimes just having the notification for the other program appear crashes with the DX error.

Are these fixable?

I get crashes from Ctrl-Alt-Delete too, with both LH and FE.

Does the same here; Win7 x64  DX error.

Also had to verify steam files, one was bad after Ctrl-Alt-Delete

I got the DX error crash on .85 when closing the lid of my laptop.  Win7 64.

I ctrl+alt+del with FE all the time on my 32-bit XP machine. No problems.
