Except the intention is that FE will be released when it's ready. So there will be a long beta period which will test everything in the game, multiple times.

I don't think Fireball should automatically work better the more units in a stack there are. Warfare had to work hard to get 9-unit armies, why should Fireball automatically get 9x damage for no extra research or levels-up?
This is a friendly reminder to do what the title says. =) In other words, bump. =)
I agree.
No, even more important than all those. =) Of course, IMO. =)
Exactly. I think random opponents is one feature almost everyone will expect in the finished game, and quite rightly so.
Well I think where the game mentions "Growth" they mean local to that city. Faction prestige is a bonus to growth and is divided by the number of cities. So if you have 4 prestige, and you have 1 city, it will get an extra 4 growth (subject to enough food), if you have 2 cities each city will get 2 growth added to it, if you have 4 cities each city will get a bonus 1 growth subject to enough food. So prestige is a growth bonus to each city that is bigger when there are few
Yes, I very much hope that the game is in beta until all major issues are addressed, the game is fun and relatively balanced and there are very few minor issues to speak of. I *think* that is what Stardock is planning, and I think they will be a lot more focussed on crucial issues after the example of WoM. I agree - great first impression for FE, now let's continue and make it great!
Sounds like a plan! =) ;-)
I think people would be interested in it. =) However, I do hope that the devs can put in an official version in the game at some stage too. =)
Maybe spell-casting units would require mana to be produced - like they are being "imbued" by the sovereign, even if remotely. =)
I like these ideas. =)
Apparently the major patches will use a patch file which you run to update from the base.
I have posted a note for people to report new bugs in the FE Support forum, you might want to sticky it.
No, only new bugs.
Yes, it would be great if you could select a unit, then select an enemy unit and find out the min damage (not counting dodge), max damage and average damage. It would just require the UI to get the information from the game files and present them in a readable way.
Contact support@stardock com if you purchased a pre-order from Stardock for WoM. They are not perfect, it is not possible to be 100% sure of getting to everyone who preordered or bought the game, and if you are interested, it is definitely worth checking up on it! =)
Derek posted in a thread that beta bugs are meant to go in FE Support rather than FE Beta. This is so FE Beta forum can focus on feedback.
I kind of agree with both. =) Maybe 1 man armies get a 25% bonus to experience if they win?
You can get produced units to appear in the city with an option, but there is no option currently for Sovereign and units stay in a city when it's founded (especially important when aggressive monsters are near and your Sovereign or units have no movement points left).
Wow, good stuff Frogboy!
Okay, I agree with this.
Maybe instead of being able to kill off opposing side's heroes, which results in fewer heroes and also getting high-tier equipment early, the solution could be that you could hire opposing side's heroes but at 50% extra cost (and possibly higher upkeep costs if this is implemented). This would represent that it is still possible to cross the factional boundary (Empires/Kingdoms) just that it is harder to do so (just like in diplomacy between different leaders). And it woul
