My system is set to go to screensaving mode in case of inactivity - and it's password protected. I use it as security measure against my children, who can be too curious sometimes. It wasn't any problem before Win8, as Windows detected running application and didn't go to screensavers if I am playing. Unfortunately, now, with Win 8 and 8.1 already, my system _always_ go to saving mode, if I am doesn't touch mouse/keyboard for set time. :( Well, i

I didn't touch FE since last spring, now I am playing Legendary Heroes, and I am glad to see that most annoying issues all are gone! Grats! And thank you! :) But several more still persist for me, and some of them are definitely bugs. 1. "Invisible zone of control" is still here, and it's somewhat annoying for me. I mean issue that exist here from first Elemental betas and never was fixed: zone of control calculated at the beginning of turn, but actually shown only aft
Well, I got famous rat kill quest. And killed all this rats! On my way back I combined my champion with sovereign, and arrived at tavern... only to look on "you haven't quest item" message. What?! Oh, wait. I have it on champion. So I need to "trade" rat to my sovereign, move out of tavern, return - and only after that I got my reward. Looks like broken mechanics for me.
In all previous incarnations of game I got opposing factions in my list just after I see them. Also, I got greetings from them, so I couldn't miss them. No more. Now it's me who need initiate negotiations. I can walk around opponent's cities ten turns in row, and still be "unaware" of it, as I never tried to talk. Why such modifications?
Oh! Really. I used to cursor scrolling, and sometimes - edge scrolling. I didn't notice drag! Thank you. Well, then this post need to be corrected...
Hmm, my fault. I used to enter into city interface with double-click - it works this way in a lot of games, including Elemental. Moreover, it still works this way here - only for building interface. But yes, I wasn't aware of auto-build feature at all. Looks very confusing.
Look on this picture, please: As it's obvious, there is 6 distinct features on this cloth map - two different mining spots and three different monsters. But it's visible only on cloth map. As all of this, except upper-left mine, is out of my sight, 3D-map shows me only "plains" and "forests" in this spots. But why? Well, I can understand tha
Well, I am find it quite hard to not able to scroll battlefield in tactical battles. Especially with good zoom, obviously. Of course, I always can zoom-out/zoom-in in any needed point, but "plain" scroll still would be better... Can you add it, please? [edit] Well, as noticed in this thread, dragging battlefield still works. Good. But main map can be scrolled also with pulling cursor at the edge and with cursor keys. Can it be added to tactical battles too? I used to it.
Seeking for hotkeys, I am occasionally triggered "Explore" mode on. And it confused me good fifteen minutes. Problem is that "exploring" unit have nothing unusual in appearance - I can select it manually, I can move it as I want - but I cannot select it with "U" hotkey anymore. WTF?! Issue became clear for me only after I got item, and it immediately sets path for my hero somewhere in the unknown. ?? Ah! That's it!! So question: can you make exploring unit more distinctive?
Every time when I am founding item, I have only two options for it - equip it or put away (ok, actually it's 3 - trade, if I have 2 heroes in one place). But why I don't see comparable stats? Ok, I found new weapon, new cloak or new helmet - must I equip it or keep my old one? I don't know. I see two ways to solve it: either show old item that will be exchanged near "Equip" button, in FF-like style - or open full equipping interface for me to compare manually. Can it be do
As I got it already, FE, just as Elemental, have approach "all planned actions made only at the end of turn". Well, I am not very fond of it (for me, opposite "make all planning happens at the start of turn" is much more intuitive and logical), but let it be. But can I, at least, have button "make your move" for my "planned" units? It can be action, hotkey or button in the interface, I don't care - but can it be somewhere? I want to see, what I can do now, and all th
Elemental always have "no visible unit path" issue for me that never was resolved. Fortunately, in FE we have this path visible! Yay! But why this path is so... even? In current condition it's pure informal "way that unit will take". No more. Can I suggest at least mark amount of turns for it? HoMM3, for example, have "shadow hero" at the any square where turn will end. Warlock simply have dotted path with bold dot in the end of each turn. Some of strategies I played have nu
Hello. :) I wasn't in support forum since Elemental times, and I hope that Fallen Enchantress will turn better than it. :) Let me start then... When I am entering my city with double click on any city tile, it works as expected - i.e., I am arrive at city screen. But at least in half of cases in such clicking it begins to fill my building queue, with somewhat unpredictable results. It always put in queue first available building, but sometimes it's two buildings or eve
As I see, I have a lot of magic in the "Spells" category, especially for sovereign. It creates a moderate confusion: on the one hand, I "know" half-hundred of different spells, but on the other I can cast only one, global! I suppose, this tab is for "potential" spells, maximum possible in theory. So maybe, it's worth to distinct it somehow? For example, "potential" spells could be the same as now, but "real", say, greenish or shining or something like that?
As I see, there are not many hotkeys now, but still... 1. Why I cannot check all hotkeys anywhere? I see, for example, 3 default views (for keys 1, 2 and 3), but it not mentioned anywhere! Also, there is not described "D" button that leads to Hiergamenon - but no button to go into "Details" screen. :) 2. There is no more "Next unit" button again? :/
Well, it seems, popups are aligment to define map angles. It means that if I looking on map "right" - it's ok, as I see everyhting and can work with everything. Unfortunately, as I am rotating map now and again, I see it "wrong". In my cases popups mix with square in question, obscure visibility and causing glitches. Like that: <img src="http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy84/Smiling_Spectre/Fallen%20Enchantress/Tooltip.png" alt="Wrong tooltip" width="419" hei
It seems that I can rename any NPC that I meet, even if he is not aligned with me. Is it must be so?
Oh, unit design have the same quirks as Elemental. Ok, another two old complains and one new: There is one problem with unit design: I cannot to design unit with weapon. It means, in particular, that I cannot design my own pioneers! Oh, now I can give them wooden staffs for nothing. Cool! But that arises second question: why I have default pioneers at all, if I can upgrade it for free, simply visiting design screen? :) And second problem is unit weapon. I s
Well, as I see, Enchantress have the same movement system as Elemental. I had no any luck with last, but maybe I will be more successful with Enchantress? First one: movement paths. I cannot predict where my unit will move. Moreover, I also will not see that it is moving at all, as "moving" unit have nothing distinct from "idle" one. Can you add movement paths, please? And second: order of movement. Most old strategic games that I know move automatic units before
Well, I seen my first tutorial video. It's all right, but have one issue: when it's ends, it does nothing. I can watch indefinitely on this black window until I'll press "close". Why? It seems, I cannot repeat it or select something in this window - so why to keep it on screen? I am suggesting to auto-close it after playback, or, maybe, have this youtube-like button "Play it again". :) Oh, I just discover that pressing strange square button in the corner will move yo
Well, it looks funny. :) I get my first bug even before game itself started! :) When I entered my email/password on activation screen, I got this: But neverless game started when I clicked Ok. :) Still it have bug report. Nothing serious it seems (and not related to activation), but lot of "you may ne

Well, as for me, AAA-games killing gaming industry. At least, PC-industry. It's because they become more and more expensive, so it need more and more auditory to be successful, and it is, in turn, force it to be addressed to max. broad amount of people. And it is made games too easy and simple for me. Well, graphic become more and more impressive, complex and unrestricted, but gameplay behind it become easier and easier accordingly. I was forced to reload each second fight i
I am eagerly buy everything that catch my sight and not too expensive. Elemental, actually, is exclusion from that rule, because I had big hopes for it, and it was gifted to me. :) It's mostly because I haven't much time for actual playing, and I tend to play big games. So every other title in list mostly bought very cheap, so it is not exactly "AAA-list". :) So, at release: Drakensang, Fallout 3, Dragon Age: Origins, Elemental, BioShock 1-2 - 9/10. High expectations fo
