The new 10.8 catalyst that ATI drivers make things worst not better, now after updating the drivers, I now get all sorts of graphic corruption (blue screen, black screen, etc.) during tactical combat!!!

Sorry to say but, I think this is another aspect of poor design, how can you build a Dynasty without a spouse? If your spouse dies before you have heirs, it's game over. So unless the game is about killing other kingdoms spouses before they form a Dynasty, this game should allow you and the AI kingdoms to remarry.
There really should be a way (tech, building, etc.) that allows units (non champions) to upgrade!

Load Save game, go the the city of Ryeland, there are two shore hexes within the zone of control, harbor researched. The Harbor doesn't even show in the list of available improvements. Upgraded to 1.05 and now have Major Problems 1. Game won't start in Windowed Mode, Fullscreen = 0, Video Option shows FullScreen unchecked. 2. Shore Hexes for Harbors I use to be able to create a shore hex in the Beta with the lower land spell, can't get this to work in the release version. The Raise land spell creates new land but, not a shore hex?
You can set starting positions with the map editor, I didn't see any way to add cities with the map editor, without any documentation, it's hard to tell what you can and can't do. When things settle down a bit, hopefully Brad and company will have a Q&A session about modding questions and tools.

I think the issue is with the word "Missed", we should see something like "Spell Failed" and/or "Spell Deflected". Magic shouldn't be 100% all the time. I always liked the magic system in the Old Wizardry series, the higher the level or more difficult the spell, the greater chance of failure, sometimes a spell would blow up in your own face and damage your party members, magic is a dangerous thing! Cell pones, cars, guns jam etc. nothing works 100% of the time, you've just been spoiled!
I also like the small armies, I don't want to fight total war type battles. Large battles would get very old, very fast with the tactical combat system in Elemental. The main issue is city/town defense, walls should be a early tech to stop a small group from attacking a city. Defenses should grow along with the size of your city/town and you should need specific techs, like siege equipment to attack walled defenses. &nb
Not too happy to see that random maps didn't make it the final release and no plan to add in later. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] On the plus side, I've been playing with the Map Editor, it's not that hard to used so I think we will see more custom maps (player created) after things settle out a bit. The Map Editor does have a random map generator, which serves as a good starting point in creating your own maps.

Several buildings have a city size requirement but, I can't find anything in the city detail screen that tells me what size/level a city is? There is also nothing in the Hiergamenonom on impovements that shows the required city level/size for specific improvements.

I built a harbor near a shore hex, built a ship but, can't place the ship in a water hex? I assume harbors can only be built on specific hexes, correct?
Ok, I tried to create a random map with Islands using the Map editor, it does a very poor job of creating Island maps. Issues: 1. Islands too small . 2. Islands with no shore hex. 3. Land to water percentage 70-80 water on large map with very few islands. There should be some input to the percent of land or water when generating a random map!
