Whats happened to Land Mass?

The manual page 7,  says you can pick Land Mass (Continent, Islands, etc.), don't see this in the game, it was in some of the Beta versions. Would like to see this add back in the game yes, I know you can create maps with the editor but, picking map size and map type (AKA Land Mass) are pretty standard fare in strategy games.

Ok, I tried to create a random map with Islands using the Map editor, it does a very poor job of creating Island maps.

Issues:

1. Islands too small .

2. Islands with no shore hex.

3. Land to water percentage 70-80 water on large map with very few islands.

 

There should be some input to the percent of land or water when generating a random map!
