I'm in general agreement that Stardock has some distance to create between E:WOM and E:FE. A distance in the narrative. A span of prolonged positive talk about Fallen Enchantress. Peppered with occasional rejoinder when asked about WoM, that the games have little to compare.. even the lore has evolved. When WoM is brought up in interview: speak of those core changes which make such a comparison pointless. E:WOM was a different game, made a couple years ago under different m

[Apologies HeavenFall] I lost track of which thread I was posting in. There was some thread syncronicty going on. The above were an add-on thought to a previous post, better said elsewhere than your Mod thread. Apologies.

How I think of tech in E:FE: It's not about losing the knowing of something, it's about having lost the doing of it. To get more food from farms, things gotta change. M od the box, to fit the new card . A society in Elemental needs time to build and modify what needs changing. Time to incorporate a new system into the old. Time to get stuff done before it can begin paying off. Tech in E:FE is the time it takes to make em

I like the idea of the dual Building/Training queue. Some things I don't like though. Whatever happens, I would like to see that things half-built, remain half-built until such time as they are resumed. I wouldn't mind for there to be some time to be lost if a project is on hold overlong. I would just like to pause a build, then come back to finishing it later.

There are also units who'll show a limited move like 2 or 3, but have a version of the Charge trait which lets them move a great deal farther on their first move. It would be nice to display this info on the mouseover as well.

If loose lips can sink ships, I suppose rats can as well. But this is all suspect to me. The potential is high for this to be a crafted guise. And beyond it all, I simply don't take at face value what agencies of my government report. My distrust of gov began long ago, and it didn't just happen out of the blue. It took time to move away from blind trust. We've recently been heavily assuaged with officialdom lies and mainstream media misinformation.

The precedence for that subterfuge was set more than a hundred years ago in the US.
