not dead. Just hibernating. (read reply 21 for more)
i'm sure LH will change drastic like both WOM and Fe did. Big changes, making for many different games during 'public development' -i get that, public beta development (and enjoyed it), but the game changed so drastic, and there is no end. Eventually buy another and continue. i'll not buy LH -one for balance of finances, another for the steam

Will conclude with over 4 million words written. As spoken, that's about 420 hours of audio-tape. Epic. Is nearly here! Oh yeah, will be taking the day off work to finish that thing... feel like a kid who's told he&#3

i do think the Hiegamenon, Spell Book and Monster Manual would make for neat reference books. Is just that it falls too far down the priority lists for me. And we still aren't making books outta hemp so trading trees for momentary enjoyment is a factor. But yeah, i see where the OP is coming from, and do think there would be interest in this.

i'm not much concerned about Stardock going "evil" with DLC. Time will tell it. Past doesn't support it. Will see. Though i think DLC is dated unless it morphs.
Since Hostess is/was such a huge company, this would seem to provide an opportunity for smaller, more regional bakeries to start up or expand. That might actually be kind of nice for a change.
Yes this ^ !!! We move past the mono-blocs. Too much money gets exported out of local and regional economies never to return. Too few hands take far to much. The least painful route to repair our economy is gonna be a return to mom and
Map DLC will sell lousy, and willl discourage them to make game better.
Stardock tests the waters here, to see how well DLC is received. But the results will be skewed cuz a significant chunk of these initial sales will be a result of customer goodwill garnered through the narrative of Stardock taking a financial hit in order to 'make-up' for a previous blunder. Course i think SD will take this in mind and base futur

i used to love the swag that came with games. Is a nostalgia there. But at this point i wouldn't pay for it. Ain't got the money for one thing, don't want to waste planetary resources for another. And nowadays the manuals are obsolete before the games even hit the stores. Folks who want this, and who lack the hardware to do it themselves, could hire out a local print shop if these materials were available online (which i think they may all be). Put some money in a neighb

The employees had already made big concessions in just a few years. While executives take raises and gifts. They even tried to pull a fast one on the courts by pumping up executive compensation directly before heading to bankruptcy court. Management was rotten. And sales have been flat or declining for years. Consumers are trending healthier and wiser. This is witnessed across the board. Hostess failed to meet demand. Then there is the sugar cartel. These are the real bad guys here. Research
Love the new Avatar WhiteEld.
Thanks. The other'd grown stale so it'd been on mind to update it. Then the dichotomy of fierce Magnar on a cuddly Pony come round and brought a laugh, followed by a ponder session of duality. Random things on the net seemed to conspire a fostering of thought down this line. Sorta found myself working on the avatar in the midst of it all :)

The Adventuring Guild sounds real neat. Evokes imagination. But is a red herring. Adventuring? More like the Sitting Guild. Is only good for adventurers who sit. Course that's good for champs who grant city boons, but i never get around to having even those dudes sit around, they're always active. i'da used the name Adventuring Guild for a building which grants quests, or unlocks new random events, or affects actual adventuring in some way. Boons like increased mo

You are heard loud and clear Val, as was i. And that's just it. We done said our piece, repeated. Time to make peace and move on or at least get out the way. i seek to be helpful still, fore there are still problems i have with the game. But i fear, with good reason i think, that they will hear nothing if i fall back to my anti-social pickhead ways.. as i did dabble in at one time.. or more. If nothing else, see it as adding a bit of sugar to the medicine... <br

It does look good RD, and i been around a small share of remodels and a bit more new builds. Still don't know what i'm doin 'less i do it for me, but i know the laboring of it all quite well. Well done dude. hehe and i personally grok that "temp" fix" of the plastic over mold and draft. Been there and still fighting mold not far from rainy Seattle. Ahh thought this would be a break from 6 months of snow, but no, i'd rather a half year of snow+slush than rain=mold. <

Yeah i'm tending towards a generic multi-purpose build. i resist this, but tire of creating story that can't possibly be told. It feels wrong this, with all these customization tools and the interest they bring towards playing within a diversity.
