I have to admit though, it stopped my superfast sovereign strategy. Honestly, having a sovereign with 7 movement speed blazing over the terrain WITH his army was more than a little silly.
Autarkhos
I've had similar when I alt-tab out. The land (but not the edges / coasts around it) goes a blank white.
I do like where you're going with that concept though, Tasunke. It's certainly far more developed than mine. The idea of them harnessing the titan's abilities (rather than just making lavas) is a pretty good idea, in my opinion.
Now, unless this is some kind of super wheel sword, I'm fairly certain that's meant to read "A long-bladed sword that takes two hands to wield." That's all, folks!
You haven't done the cave quest, then? =p Hopefully they'll expand on that. Like being able to ride the wolves. That would be truly epic.
We definitely need an "Amazonian" trait for pure female armies.
Agreed - though it'd be cool to get more than a single shot off. Then again - when better bows come into play, that may change.
It's still pretty exploitable.
Armour should have a dampening effect on magic, then.
I read somewhere (I think it was the Elemental site itself) that we'll be at a "power level equal to Sauron or Morgoth". Which one is it? The difference between those two is like the difference between a firecracker and a nuke, even though Sauron had a major advantage in the subtlety department. I'm going to take a random wild guess and go for that, if we go for pure magic power, we get on a raw power level like Morgoth whereas, if we go for a more civ / army orientated route, we go f
I'd like to be able to choose a "banner" for your dynasty that's different from your faction.
TDTTOF . =p
I'd like to be able to dump them into movement, or something.
My suggestion is that, in addition to the usual goodie huts and autogenerated terrain, there should be "Areas of Interest" plopped down in places (either randomly or places that seem applicable to them). If anyone's played Torchlight, you'll know that their maps are hundreds of connected "pieces" that've been slotted together. They were designed to be able to link up, instead of just having randomly generated maps. This is a similar concept to what I'm suggesting, except these areas s
Could just make it like MoM where you have a tiny transportation fee. It was 20 mana to move an item from a found location to another location IIRC. My vote is for just allowing it, but if there has to be a penalty, make it small.
You could make it depend on the quality of the item, I suppose. Higher quality, higher cost.
I've been checking out the new 2A monsters, and now they seem a bit pathetic. But, I don't think the way to redress that is to boost their base power levels. I think we need more abilities, instead! As an example, let's take the reviled sand golem leaders. These guys are masses of (presumably packed) sand, and they've turned pretty pathetic now. The trouble with that is that they SHOULDN'T be that terrible. What I suggest is that, instead, they gain a bonus to health regene
Though, NOT until release dammit. If you are having fun during the betas, I'll find you!
Guilty. Dx
Unless these guys are confused about how epic this guy is, I don't think they should be wondering. =p They should be wandering! Oh, and where do I give my sovereigns in to be added to future betas? Or was that just Beta 1?
Apparently none of my forum posts "have enough content". =( NONE OF THEM.
Hmm... What happens if you kill the pups, anyhow? And, can you still found cities?
Is THAT how it works? Does it give the bonus?
I do however seem to be getting the issue where if I go to cloth map and back to 3D view the buildings disapear bug more often though.
Scroll in slowly, instead of superfast. =p
Suggestions for the flavour text of research / whatever else needs it. Apiaries: "By the buzzing of my bees, something tasty this way comes." - Beekeeper Halee Fishing: "The only thing better than fishing is fishing drunk." - Master Baiter Autas Gardening (Or whatever it is to get gardens): "Green thumbs are a sign of necrosis, not a good sense of plants." - Alan the Gardener What're all your suggestions, <span style="text-decorati
I'd like to be able to give quests TO Adventurers. "I NEEDS ARTIFACTS GO GET ME SOME"
"Barbarian invasion"-esque mod. Tons of titan creatures attacking, slowly building up more and more.
Would it be possible to have roads linking cities? It can be merely cosmetic or give a minor bonus for building it. Bonus being an increase to the smaller city's growth rate, maybe? I just like roads. =(
