Thumbs up to this. [e digicons][/e] Minor but good.

Really, what we need is one off / very few per civ buildings / wonders. Like a building that gives you a +10% bonus to all research in that city, but you can only have two of them. Or a wonder that gives you an automatic warehouse to place in every city you start up.

I just think of them as small villages.
Another path we could take is with noble titles. You could elect a champion as a lord, duke or baron of a city. In addition, buildings might allow their own noble titles, like building a Royal Treasury would allow the player to elect an Exchequer, for example. These lords might soon have their own families and have their own motivations. That'd be cool.
I like this idea a great deal. I think that all the merchants etc sho
It'd be extremely useful, actually. Place one in front of your city, and your enemies can't go past it without leaving themselves open to being rear ended by your troops. You can station archers in there and use them to harry enemy troops without leaving themselves open to being attacked. You can shove one in a choke point and use it to prevent enemies getting back without having to spend a crap tonne of cash on a city. Oh, and don't forget using it as a place to rest your troops afte
I can't imagine linking up the horizontal sides is THAT hard to do.
I use companies for weak troops / archers. (Damage absorption for weak troops and ease of use for archers. Seriously, my archer companies do twenty damage per shot against those Slag monsters, and I have a "ranger" group which can move six times per turn. I can do 120 damage in a single turn.) Heavier troops I either make whatever that 4 unit group is called or individuals.
I had this two times in mine. Once was a caravan that got stuck, confused, whatever. I disbanded it and it worked. the other was a transport. I didn't more it and I think it was autoexploring, but then ran out of things to explore or whatever. I moved it and then could end the turn.
That was it. Thank you very much. +karma
Looks like you got Edward Cullen as a wife.
Had the same, Windows 7. Not very often, though.
I thought that was their point? I'm going to assume that you're going to have the wizardly types sitting in your city shooting off spells (and being protected, obviously), so they're going to hurt them a lot more. Especially considered how many more points a commander / fighter sovereign needs. But, yeah, they should probably be lowered to like 5 or 7 points each.

I doubt they will have anything like this as I think they are aiming for a Teen rating.
...Wow. That's just silly. I was going to make an argument that Fable had plenty of alcohol, sex and violence in it, but it turned out THAT was rated M in America too. The whole ale thing is very abstract, too, how can that count, really? ( It tur
This is very game breaking. I can post my save if it's necessary?
I've always thought that this game was pretty heavily influenced by the Birthright setting. Isn't it?

I like this.
It's not THAT hard to get an excellent wizardry-type sovereign, at the moment at least. (All into intelligence and willpower, maybe take two points out of dexterity to put into charisma. You can get the +2 spell power every second bonus as well as all the spellbooks.) You don't even have to particularly cripple yourself to do it. Maybe a tiny bit overpowered, in fact. (Since, if your sovereign's leading people into battle, it costs a LOT more points. To get a "perfect" warrior-type so
So, anyone fancy having polygamy as an option for characters? I'm a bloody immortal wizard capable of reviving the land and making everything nice. I don't think anyone would argue with me having more than one wife. Also, leave in the ability to marry your family together. Maybe give an "Inbred" trait if it's necessary, but I'd still like to be able to do it. It's a funny quirk. Oh, and is it currently possible to marry your kids off to other sovereigns / get theirs in the sam
I think they should cut down on our research choices, to be honest. Maybe cut it down to three to five when that screen pops up. I like the choosing of tech AFTER you've researched. It reminds me of Alpha Centauri.
We really need some screen movement controls that aren't just the mouse. I need to be precise sometimes, and the mouse can just not do that for me. Anyone agree?

I got the same in .803.
