I think I had the same thing, actually. Then again, the Library IS lost. =p

It annoys me a great deal that any colours I picked for my sovereigns look absolutely ridiculous. So garish.
Eh, I don't know. It's not a bad idea, but it'd allow you to far too easily to "fortify" a few units in an inn, grab the quest there (and don't complete it) and then rest there whilst attacking an opponent. Then again, that might not be a bad idea on the whole.
Hmm... I've seen it, at the least. From my naturalist custom sovereign.
Did the Lost Horse quest, didn't get a horse. This made my face sad. Was playing a custom sovereign (married) in Tarth, if that makes a difference.
Laf. Developers please don't dumb the game down too much. Somebody getting killed on turn 3 to a golem (probably a crappy sand golem) that only has 2 movement when your starting sovereign can see like 4 spaces away is not a fault of the game. That's just a player making a very very bad decision. Hmm, there's a golem that can probably kill me 4 spaces away. He only has 2 movement points so he can't reach
Unfortunately, there's just not that much out there in the way of TBS. In fact, there's been a real dearth of Fantasy strategy titles in general over the past few years, and I'm feeling a similar itch to you. I'm currently following Elemental on the TBS side and Dawn of Fantasy on the RTS side of the genre, but of course neither are released yet.
It is really unfortunate, but we can deal with it, I'm sure! I
So, yep, let's share mods and games we've found that scratch fantasy turn based strategy or 4X itch. My favourite one recently is a Civ4 Beyond the Sword mod called Rise from Erebus (it's built off another mod which is built off another mod which is built off another mod; it basically goes Fall from Heaven -> Fall from Heaven 2 -> Fall Further -> Rise from Erebus). It's got really diverse gameplay depending on the faction you pick, a pretty decent magic system and some r
Well, I heard from a few people that the Empire used death magic (that's alright, I suppose, a bit black and white for my liking) and that they terraform the land to be volcanic and crap. At that, I was just "Wuh? Why would anyone do that?" It makes no sense to me that they'd just destroy it for the sake of it. My suggestion, instead:- - Keep the Empire with "death" magic or whatever, maybe make it something less cut and dry. - The Empire doesn't destroy, they survive in the
So, yeah, is anyone else hoping that they won't screw up diplomacy so much it'll require an expansion pack to fix? Diplomacy is going to be the thing that makes or breaks single-player gameplay, for me, and if we get shunted with basic Total War or Sins of a Solar Empire-esque diplomacy then I'll be extremely disappointed. A few of the things I really don't want:- - Automatic unending hatred between Kingdom and Empire. - Endless war despite you being able to crush the e
