How Powerful Will We Be?

Sauron or Morgoth?

I read somewhere (I think it was the Elemental site itself) that we'll be at a "power level equal to Sauron or Morgoth". Which one is it? The difference between those two is like the difference between a firecracker and a nuke, even though Sauron had a major advantage in the subtlety department.

I'm going to take a random wild guess and go for that, if we go for pure magic power, we get on a raw power level like Morgoth whereas, if we go for a more civ / army orientated route, we go for more a Sauron level of power.

What do you all think?

I would like to see the Sovereign do something where I'd think, "maybe that's overpowered."

Didn't Morgoth give most of his power to Sauron before he got banished by the gods to where ever?

Personally, I'd guess our power was closer to that of Sauron.  If our channelers have as much power as Morgoth/Melkor, they'd virtually be gods.

Not as I understand it, no.  Sauron was his chief lieutenant, however, and already quite powerful in his own right.

Actually we're suppost to be nearly the power of a god *able to terraform land bring life to those whom are dead etc.* so roughly we start as a being like saruman *forget how to spell* a wizard basically and then move up to sauron and as we gain power by the end game in a epic length we may reach demi god level power like that of Sauron+Ring.

so essentially quite powerful and life mages can bring back the dead etc. death mages necromacy and dark arts etc. so in some ways we can reach godly power *over our own chosen elemental domain* but in other ways we'd still be weak depends on the sovereign and if they go all for magic or if they go for physical as well.

It's more akin to what a Maiar can do, not a Valar.  The Titans would be equivalent to Valar.

um thanks for the clarification frogboy lol.

Still we can create volcanos and raise the dead etc. can we not? i just would like a clarification of the extent of our power in more clear terms if possible. thank you.

In RPG tradition you should be a nuker end game.

I was hoping to transform into a giant godlike entity and just start messing shit up, like the last level of Populous 3. Unlimited mana etc. =D
