I liked the ability to place units. It made it a little more tactical. I wouldn't asay I hate the city placement, but I do think it is limiting.

It is a little like D&D or most RPG. Mages do not start out very powerful and will need help as they build up their power. Don't worry, you will see a switch about mid game.
Kael When you say you fixed it, does that update to our games or do we need to download something.
Great article for Fallen Enchantress and Stardock.
[quote quoting="post"] Greetings! Today’s the big day. In fact, 2 hours from now 1.0 will go live. Now, to save yourself pain and aggravation please do the following: UNINSTALL the beta. Completely. That also means go into the my games\fallen enchantress directory and rename it to something else (or delete it entirely). Don’t take any chances. Start from a clean setup. Wow Toby, farming bandits for slaves. There should have been an evil laugh going along with that comment.
Not sure it makes since for a Life event to Bind. That seems to be on the darker side of things.
What monsters work with the collar? I have never been able to get it to work, and I usually just get killed trying to use it.
Merchant Bazaar is a World Wonder. only 1 per game. Once soemone starts building it. No one else can build it. One of the AIs must have started building it when you decided to wait.
Not me, I struggle on Normal. It looks like it is going to be the setting for me. I notch higher and I just get creamed, and one lower I usually win. On normal, its about 50/50.
I prefer to have it the way it is. Just because I choose Air and Life, does not mean that should be the only or majority of shards I will find.
Sevena's arrogance might be getting the better of her. Awaiting the next chapter.
Congrats.
Tuidjy---i'll give it shot. Definitely do not want to tick him off. Right now I think we are warm. I could probably beat him, but probably not him, Magnar and Verga. I still thought the option would at least be on the screen even if he declined it. The button is not even there.
I researched the tech. It is in the Civilization tree, the option just isn't coming up.
These are fun
Yea he is pretty tough. I think he needs to be reclassified. Despair is pretty brutal.
Not bad at all. I agree with Leo in WI about #2. Something that is easy to play but hard to master is what makes something fun. Hopefully #5 will also be answered by the campaign. All in all, I think the review is very positive.
I am in the middle of great game in .983. Playing as Tarth againts the 4 Empires--medium map. Expansion usually leads to interaction pretety quickly. Total Blast. However, we have a couple Dragons--that limited expansion a a lot. One in particular which is an Ashwake Dragon that is roaming all over the place now. I had about 5 cities, all level three or about to become level three. Then..... I am locked in a pretty serious war with Magn
good for you. Are you playing on dense or something? 6/2/1.
1. No, 2. No, they should be powerful 3. Yes, monsters seems to ignore AI <s
I played last night with the Verga and Yithril. The units I trained did not have any bonus at all.
I actually thought it was kind of fun. I fell to far behind, but I killed a lot of Tarth before I fell.
That is kind of a neat option.
There was nothing around for miles. I finally found another place to settle. By the time I could even get a second city started. I was really far behind.
