I am a channeler, and the world will bend to my will. But the Dragon scares me!

Just started a new game tonight. LOL. Mine's an Ashwake Dragon. This should be interesting.

[e digicons]}:)[/e] That is awesome. At least you will be left alone for a little while. Although it looks like you have earth magic. Start making a land bridge.

gotcha, so the spell is not stacked more than once on one champion, but the effect is being duplicated on the unit stack by having it cast on multiple champions.
It's not a bug as much as a mechanics exploit, I would say.
Guess I have never really tried it. I cast it once, usually on my Sovereign. If i happen to get more than one army going, I cast it on my other "general". Not

I have not seen Tireless March stacked before. I have seen Burning Blade and Evade stacked on a Sovereign before. Those two are awful. Karavox had 10 Burning Blades stacked in one of my games. I think his attack value for a level 5 or 6 was in the 100s. I also played where Lady Irane had Evade stacked several times. She was unhittable. I have not seen that in the recent releases though. Not sure if it is fixed or not.<

I think no chance 2 fix it in 3 weeks (becasue you dont fix them for 7 months).
I disagree with you on bugs and AI. I think the AI does pretty well on the strategic map, and the tactical map it is pretty good. There is time for tweaks, and the AI can be tinkered with for months as SD continues to play more games. The AI kicks my butt all the time.&nbsp
Eh, don't think it really is a concern? Medieval Total War does this and if players really want they can edit the value for how much time passes during a turn.
I don't think it is really a concern, it just seemed to put things in a weird time frame. At one point it was going to take 5 turns to build a unit. Thats 15 months. that is a really long time to train.
The whole idea is that you're in a competition with the other players for these buildings. If you don't want to compete and take a risk that you'll lose, you shouldn't try for the buildings. The system as it stands simply transfers the problem you perceive with rushing to build into a rush to level one's city, so a faction can stick one-of-a-kind buildings at the back of a queue that can be endlessly ma

Does anyone else think a turn should be a month instead of a season after reading this? I understand it is a magically world and people can live longer, but a 100 years is a long time. Assuming a season is 3 months, instead of 92 game years, it would have taken about 30 years.

Try resources sparse and monsters dense. That is a pain in the ass.
Thing is, it still leaves the game mechanism in place, so you can't build something that someone else is building. Which just seems counter-intuitive, like the "you can't see or interact with any features on the map unless you research it first" part in WoM. I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong with letting multiple factions research a one-of-a-kind, giving a partial refund in gold and research at a single city
So you're good with dying horribly if you don't have metal? If you put enough crystals into it, you could build the armor out of fruit. Or dust. Or air.
Yep. Go find a mine and start getting some, if not, make due with what you got. I would be fine with some type of magical studded leather armor. Basically leather armor imbedded with crystals. As I said before, I actually don't t

I think we also need more talents and weaknesses. I made post once of a couple.

I like the randomness as well. Level 20 will take for ever before you can use it. I do wish you could have a vault for stuff at your Capital. It would also be useful to equipe new champions if you didn't want to sell something. Also be cool if the city is cpatured that they get your vault.

I don't think it would be in the vanilla either. But I hope the next expansion has a bunch of spells, armors, quests, heroes, etc. As far as Arcane Armor, I am just not a fan of only crystals. I guess I picture arcane armor being the best metal armor which is enhanced with crystals. Too learn how to make arcane armor you should learn how to make the other armors (which I thought you needed too--I will have to double check tonight).&n
I'm fine with keeping the units if we pay for them. Maybe even a choice where we pay for the champion with, or without, the mobs.
That would be interesting. Although you would have to come up with a solution for the Natural Leader.

If you can't find it than you can't make it. Only Crystal based with no other materials seems empty to me. Especially with the limitation on the types of armor. Let us kill some drakes and dragons and make dragon scale armor. Even slag and skath armor would be neat. There used to be a quest to get an artic cloak. Bring him back 3 wolf pelts and he makes a cloak. Bring back 1 drake or dragon hide. Or perhaps shrills Special abil
(note, we are modifying the arcane armor to not require metal, but for now, I will need to find some source of metal)
Armor should still require some metal, enhanced with crystals.

I thought there was a mass heal. Something Well. I look tonight. But I thought there was a better heal spell. Don't the heal spells get better with more life shards.
