Nice! Fell dragon vs storm dragon.
I did have to intercede just a bit to make sure the proper dragon came out on top. There ended up being 4 dragon caves on this medium map. The last one was buried deep in Pariden, maybe I could've had 4 dragons. Worked out well though. I split my champions to guard my cities as I marched forward. There is a bug though in the Dragon Sweep. The tail sw

This is how the my game ended last night. I was Magnar leading my Quendar armies, against Procipinee, Relias, and Markin. The world shall not be ruled by such an undeserving race. My pet is the reason for my strategy change. As I was developing a civilization, the war mongers from west concentrated on the machines of war. But this was the final battle. This was an interesting fight though.
Never fear, Xia will speak the truth. As far as a review, it seems written by someone that is not very familiar with the game. Most everybody thinks the champions are strong throughout the end of the game, in some cases overpowered. This review says that cannot compete late game. That is the complete opposite of almost everyone playing. I would take this review with a grain salt.
The Great wolf actually gives you a bonus to attack based on it's level. I had one that was level 12 last game...so a +12 to everyones attack. That makes your troops really fucking vicious. Also, big fucking spiders. The really big fuckers, hoarders.
Capture a Cave Bear. Level that thing up with maul is pretty fun as well
Expansion and Exploration is the name of the game early. First find a good starting point. 3/3/2 is good. But I will usually try to take the best spot in my area. I want to start building as fast as I can. Cast enchantments on your city based on your sovereign. Enchanted Hammers, Meditation, Research, Propaganda depending on who you are playing and what is going on in your world. I usually build a pioneer first, then a building, then a pioneer, then start
Once a trained unit got to level ten, being able to select an additional trait would be great. It would really change how you use your trained units. And I still think you should be able to ugrade their unit size as those technologies come available.
And when it comes to mounts, you want all champions mounted up as soon as possible if they're out fighting, if they idle in a city then they never need a mount...
I still get them a horse or a warg just in case they are attacked and have to help defend the city.
The Map of Elemental is not in the current build, as it is larger then a Large map, I am hoping to update it to FE standards and get it out in a future build or DLC, 4 or the stock maps are derived from the world map however. The Eastern Continent is the large map, Curgen's Domain. The Tiny Scarps' Veil, is the area Altar is founded, The Small Karrazan's Fist is the area that is the home to Kraxis, and Yithril, the mediu
Is this map an option in the game, if not game you please add it in the next patch. I would even like the default starting locations to be an option
You need to click on your Sovereign or Champion, click shop. You can buy the resource for champions and sovereigns. There are some quests that the reward is a horse or warg. But you typically just have to equip them with it from the shop.
I am in a game right now where Gilden has a drake in their ZOC and it has not moved. With the choke points, it is almost guarding his city. I still think their is something with the FOG of war. It is almost like the AI is still in the FOG for monsters. That being said, my first game, on turn two an AI faction was killed. I assume it was by a monster before they even settled a city. However in my current game my capital city has been attacked by wolves thr
Overall I thought it was a pretty fair review. I disagree with some aspects, but some of that I think is personal taste. Personally I don't think the tactical battles should play a larger role in the game. Right now I think it is pretty balanced between strategic and tactical. The comments on the art work is also one of those personal taste subjects. I have seen many people love and several say they don't like. I like it, I think it is very un
I found the game a little addicting at times as well. I can't tell you how many times I told myself, just a couple more turns, I look up and it has been an hour later.
it is only a Blood of Quendar spell. If you have two champions that can cast it, you can cast the Cull the Weak spell while the other is blasting away with tactical spells. It is the problem with the universal mana pool. Works well until you run into bigger critters and sovereigns, but hey, thats what slaves are for.
Malkuth---great watch. Watch out for the bears. Get a studded collar and get one of those as a pet.
Why does the word addicting make you discredit the entire review?
I saw this url in another thread, but I have it running in the back ground. http://www.twitch.tv/scoteh
What? Are you implying that US government interaction incurs a 25% penalty to productivity?! Hehe. Sounds like the effect of taxes to me.
I think you are being overly generous with a 25% penalty
Should the header of this be changed to [1.00][Bug] if it is still happening
I noticed a slower tactical combat last night as well. You can speed up tactical in the options menu. Not sure about strategic map
From my understanding, monsters go after units, but only hit settlements and outposts at random. If the settlement or outpost happens to be in the way, then they will hit it. In the last Beta I was hit by a monster. Of course it was a Slag, so that pretty much sucked. It was my third city, and it was around turn 35 in the game. They could not handle the beasty
I like that he is encumbered. Maybe Gnarri didn't know he was being effected by it. Relias a more experienced soldier just needed to show him the way. I wouldn't change it.
Excellent. Your next game will be nothing like this. I got slaughtered last night in my first game. Bad starting position and nothing close by to help. By the time I got expansion started, I was so far behind Verga swatted me like a bug.
I would think you found it with your sovereign, or they may have placed a quest that grants you pioneers. There is a similar "quest" in the sandbox game that gives you pioneers.
