I can't wait for the map pack, I love the created maps. I love the lore, I wish that along with the maps, it had set starting places, so nations would start where they are suppose to be according to lore. Looking forward to this, as I find the random maps to be a bit too random and fail at looking like a real place. Too square and strange with big lakes in the middle, just never looks right to me.
But Frog, would it include this map. Set to Huge. Because this map is awesome.
That was Mr. Dark Wizard and he cast Despair. It hits all enemies and I think it does 3 damage per level, and they are often level 20. He's a dick and beating him can be really, really difficult. He cast despair every few turns, so he will kill you eventually. He also cast a fear cloak spell that makes him very difficult to hit. Few things scare me in the game, and Dark Wizards are one. <br
Will the map pack have the full elemental world in it. With the two main continents separated by the hinge. That is worth five bucks. I have wanted to play that map for a long time. Each faction starting in a per selected location and then random shards and resources. tell me that is in there frogboy and 5 bucks is yours.
If I understand your point correctly, you know you can turn manual placement of city improvements back on through the options, right?
Not quite the same as it use to be. You use to be able to "snake" your city towards resources. So if you are two squares away from a river, you could just continually build buidlings that direction, that way you would have access to the harbor buildings. Or two away from a
Not when you are checking different weapons, just the character screen in general. From time to time some of the stats are outlined in Green. I am interested in knowing this as well. I think one of my characters has it right now. I will try to load a picture. I wonder if it is a stat that has been enhanced by a spell.
I have not played with Ceresa for awhile. Dirge used to be completely over powered since its damage is controlled by shards and you can corrupt the shards you have to be all death shards which will increase its damage quite a bit. Maybe it was nerfed to much.
response to long version 1. I preferred the ability to place the units and control how the city grew. Too many it was more strategic and added a lot to the game. However, I like the different paths the cities can go. If you have three cities and choose one of each path the cities are very different. I agree they all look the same, since they got rid of the ability to place the units. But the functions of the different cities are very different
My last game, I played on sparse resources. there was only two iron mines that I found on the entire map. I had one. but it was basically the battle ground for about 15 to 20 turns. I only had two crystal mines, but they were pretty far from my starting city. I basically didn't get any crystal until almost half way through my game. With the lack resources, I was basically limited to spearman in leather through the better half of the game.
My two cents. Swords--leave the same. Some of the two handed swords are brutal. Sword of Wrath is two handed and is just devastating if you get it. Put it in the hands of Verga down the Path of the Warrior and he is pretty unstoppable. Axes--give them a 50% backswing if you hit the first time, and 100% chance of backswing if you miss the first time. Having a 50% chance of a double attack every turn would add significant damage to axe users. Mace
I like getting those as pets. If you can get them leveled up, they are pretty awesome.
I actually have started setting the resources to sparse. My first two cities were pretty close to together, but my third city was really far away. Even with roads it took two turns riding on a horse to get between the two. My fourth city was even farther. Three or four turns for my Juggernaut created in my second city to get to the fourth city where all the fighting was. This last game I might have just been unlucky though. Tarth had three of four b
Ogre should at least be able to progress through their levels Banished Ogre Ogre Bone Ogre ***edit*** same with trolls Troll Big nasty Warrior Troll Troll Shaman
Although it is easier to negotiate from a position of strength. If you are 300 points behind, there is not much incentive for another faction to ally themselves with you and declare war on the faction that is 300 points ahead of you, and 150 points ahead of the one you are asking. If the faction that is the farthest ahead asks the middle of the road guy to go kill you, there is much more incentive to do so.
Well.. hm. That's your choice? If you feel like you should roleplay Verga as a guy who never makes alliances, particularly not with kingdoms, then go ahead. I like that the game mechanics don't force you into it, though, it's up to the player how they feel their sovereign should achieve victory. It's pretty hard for any empire to get an alliance going with a kingdom, anyway - did you consider that with all the gold and influence you
Game Settings Playing as Verga, Normal Diffculty, Normal AI, 4 Kingdoms as opponents, Dense Monsters, Sparse Resources, Sparse Magic. I finally achieved a diplomatic victory. For some reason it just did not feel right. I think a large part of this is because I was playing as Verga. It just seems wrong to win with diplomacy with him. Expansion is pretty slow going with these settings, and resources are a premium. On the entire map, I
Path of the Governor does need some love.
They spend a turn getting up; however, as you pointed out, a lot of times the initiative causes the victim to go twice in a row. The hammers work well if you have initiative bonuses. Also work well against elementals, especially the banishing hammer.
Attempting to push banning something from the game is intolerant, but just as intolerant are those who reply with 'because you refuse to eat pork, I'm gonna eat more pork just to make you angry.' At least the OP has some semblance of obliviousness to the effect he's trying to push on everyone, the mongers who post they're going to do something specifically to ire the OP are certainly no better.
I would not mind an option to choose how agressive monsters are. Just a couple levels You are going to have to come get me (passive) Whatever, you might be in my way (normal) That is too close (aggressive) I can see you over the mountain and through the woods, and you are pissing me off (very aggressive)
Both Halal and the rules of Kashrut state it is fine to even eat pork if the other option is to die.
Well I just finished a game as Magnar. I enslaved entire nations and on several occassions I was feeling weak so I murdered a whole punch of slaves to make myself feel better. Then, one of my Champions, after several battles was not feeling good--in fact he was making everyone around him sick, but since he had access to earth magic (he must have been a druid or something). So I killed him too, but first I consumed his essence so I would have access to his druid sk
interested in watching you try. Send the screenshot.
I would have but the information below leaves that point mute.
The monster has to be type "Beast" to be capturable. Dragons and Drakes are type "Dragon" and maybe Slags are as well.
Where can you find this to be to distinguish. Elementals Beasts
It would make more sense that the AIs gang up on the most powerful nation, not the weakest. Right now, the nations seem to give up and give in to the front runner, giving them gold, sucking their cock , and joining in on their wars against the weakest opponents.
Do they do that as well to Procipinee and Cereesa? I think you have confused me X
