This is also agreed to by me.
Holy $hit, a post where Xia agreed to twice on the first page. It almost brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for the posts, glad to see I wasn't the only one that thought it seemed odd.
to the OP, Last night I found a quest where the tile I had to go to was on an island. It was the Maggie Ring quest. When I traveled to the yellow icon, to my surprise I discovered it was on an island. Since I was playing as Relias, and had no terraforming spells so I could not reach the tile and complete the quest. I have also used terraforming to change the land scape. I have destroyed the land to around my capital city to create an island, and then make a lan
I finished a game last night and I had worked my way up to the Master Armors and the Legendary Armors. Legendary Armor requires Elementium in order to equip your troops with it. However, for a Champion it just costs money. There needs to be some type of limit on purchasing the Legendary Armor if Elementium is that rare. I had about 8 cities, and probably 3 to 5 champions per city. All of them equipped with Legendary Armor, magic rings, totems, the works.</p
I do think there needs to be a couple more armor types, and I don't think you should be allowed to use a bow in light plate or heavy plate.

I got hit by the arcane arrow a couple times in my last game.
Needs to do something. I destroyed 3 cities in about 5 seasons.
I like the depleted resources. It makes me work harder. Even with that my last medium map I had 4 cities that I built and took over three more. The cities were spread out and not on top of each other. I would like them to be completely random though. I don't even want the starting positions seeded with resources.
Thanks for the note. Probably wouldn't be until an expansion then. I almost hope one of the expansions is nothing but magic.
In the late game there are a couple spells that need some work. Earthquake and Curgen's Inferno are both super powerful. In fact Curgen's Inferno can wipe out an entire city in the blink of an eye. I am fine with the power, but my suggestion is these two spells need to have some type of casting time and be within a certain range to cast them. That way if you see an enemy channeler conjuring and glowing within range of your city you have a chance to act on it.&n
My vote would be yes. Just finish a great game.
I just finished a great game. I King Hobbit, the royal scribe for Procipinee will walk through rise of Queen Procipinee and the Amarian Kingdom. Along the way I will walk you through some the battles, the developments, and even the strange occurrences of the Elemental world. As the heir to the Amarian throne, Procipinee founded her new kingdom. She named the city New Pariden. It was a fantastic location with two magical shards, one fire and one earth, were wi
I am happy with what seems like a reduction in the resources that are available. I still think a slider that lets us customize the worlds we play in would be a better route. My last game, I had one fertile land and a shard. Everything else was really far away. I found Carrodous within the first 10 seasons and he had fertile land, a wild wheat, and something else. Needless to say, I made friends with him. Didn't matter though, he eventually grew tired of m
I think Stardock did all of this on purpose. 1. First we will all beta test. 2. SD releases to early, on purpose--so we all see potential 3. Do debugging to stabilize the game. 1.01 to 1.09 4. Beta major fix to supply direction 5. make improvements and listen to the your customers--those bastards 6. re-release game with expansion already planned. 7. keep us apparently dumb fan boys
armor degradation would be neat, but let the armor return after the battle. I do think it needs to recover gradually, sort of like the wearer is repairing over time. Not just poof its back.
I hardly ever auto resolve a battle. I would like to have a feature that lets me watch the computer use my units and the AI to fight it out. In MoM you could turn on the Auto and if just played the battle for you. I am not a fan of any instant auto, but I would like to watch the computer battle it out with my units (sort of liek the computer becomes the field marshal). As long as I can turn it off when I wanted and take back control.
Oddly enough, based on Frogboys post i should have a higher probability of crashing since I am running a quad core machine, yet I have only crashed a handful of times since 1.0 release. I did crash about two days prior to 1.1 being released but I didn't even bother posting since 1.1 was supposed to becoming fairly quickly. I am well into 1000 "seasons" and have not crashed with 1.1. I think I fell asleep one time at my computer (ran out of coffee) but I am assuming you mea
I actually think the Sovereign should have to follow the Int requirement. I have not gone as far to get the Mastery Spell, if it is 100 than they need to do something else for that. Maybe 35 or 40
I got to spend some time playing 1.1 the last two days and I am very happy with the patch. Brad mentioned that the he wants to improve the tactical AI, but to my surprise, a couple of the bad guys went after my poorly armored sovereign and by passed her protectors. Thank Pariden for Blink, or she was screwed. Great patch
I agree with progress, add them all.
I agree as well. I like the style of art in the game.
I've been wanting this as an option for a long time now, and this also applies to your own sovereign if he/she should die, which also would make your heirs all the more valuable since they would be deemed as "extra lives", so to speak.
I would like to see from time to time, if you as the sovereign get defeated in combat, but do not die, your heir tries to take the thrown from you. Have a 1 on 1 combat. Or some
