One of my favorite things about MoM was the sheer variety of race options, and since regrettably I have zero experience in modding I worry it will be too difficult to recreate races like "Trolls", or "Gnolls", or "Beastmen"... I suppose my question is this: H
Ironically, I thought CoH and Sins did not move the genre forward at all - in fact, they took a few steps back IMO. Relatively few RTS games nowadays really break barriers or introduce novel play styles that move the genre forward.
To me, I like those no-micro-workers, squad-based games more not so much because they move the genre forward but because I find the play-style more appealing. I'd rather be the general directing the flow of ba

Mine iron, send it to blacksmith to make a sword from, send sword to an alchemist to enchant with some gems, so on so forth. Then you'd be able to design units and equip them with these weapons, as many of them as you have. There would've been several different places that could do something with t

Im not too fond of the use of DC that will only be viable in SP...but I can live with it ... as long as there is a good use for it in MP. To declare war on a player (NPC), a player spends DC which is modified by several factors (mimicking RL, to declare war you must convince your people that its a good idea....and the DC is spent to convin

I don't think I want to start with a bang, but maybe researching parties/teams might not make sense. I don't want to do everything by turn 20 and then have the next 100 turns have not much to research. It's close enough to that, imo, on the normal pacing. I want to have fun in the beginning, but not at the expense of the system running out of stuff to do too quickly.

1. I agree - instead of houses, how about having cities have a food upkeep or something just like military units have a gold upkeep. That ways the "cities everywhere" thing won't happen (since you have to have food income to maintain population) but you don't have to build houses yourself. 2. More bonuses to pick from would be great. 3. Agreed 4. At the least, ALL sovereigns should get the Royality trait. I mean, how is a King/Queen NOT royality? At least then you'd ge
