I don't remember any race creator. I remember a FACTION creator, but not a race one. Either way, I don't think the faction editor was all that bad, UI wise? I don't mind going through XML. Don't you have to use the internal name of the assets? For example, I have: GenericCrest24 So if you wanted to use Crest 12, you'd put in GenericCrest12 or for Crest_44, you'd use GenericCrest44 That way you don't HAVE to make a new file (unless you wanted to of course). Or am I misunder

I agree - having more land changing/healing spells would be wonderful. In fact, I would have imagined on reading the background of the game that most of the magic I'd be casting would be raising/submerging land and altering the face of the world, both to help my nation and harm my enemies and they'd be doing likewise to me. Aren't there some buildings in the magic tree that require a shard to be built? Or was that something else? Has anyone ever made the Spell of Making? Maybe you need one shard of each element to research the spell. I liked requiring shards to research some spells. I think if some traits had stat requirements in order to take them, that would help create a spread and thus some more uniqueness. Hardy would require X CON, Warrior could require X STR and DEX. Etc. I can't imagine a character being a warrior with 5 STR and DEX, yet now that's possible. Likewise with Brilliant and 5 INT or Natural Leader with 7 CHR, or Ugly with 15 CHR. I just vaporized some minor faction (which was...interesting...as I killed a 34 HP wolf unit with one spell...somehow...) but when I got back to the map (after leveling my Queen and embued champion). The city and the sovereign's stack disappeared! I took a screenshot. The village was right next to that Ogre Camp in the screen shot. I got 2 crystal from somewhere.
