That workaround needs to be stickied until it makes the next update since so many have this problem still.
Yeah, thanks again CodeCritter. Wow, 197.45 seems to be common, I might switch to it anyway lol :D

Well - in the quest battle I had, it was just my sovereign vs a bandit and his wolf (though it did occur twice so maybe that counted as 4 for their side, but it was only 2 on the field at a time in two separate fights)
It's supposed to be like that.
The music is supposed to skip in some parts, then flow smoothly in the next, then skip with silence? The animation is supposed to totally stop for a few seconds, then pick up, then stop again, etc?
Got a crash with Visual Studio prompting me to ask if I wanted to debug the game. I don't know where any dump files would be, the directory structure mentioned in the guide doesn't exist on my machine (I have /Program Files/Stardock Games/Elemental, not what's listed in the guide). I noticed the music/ambient sounds kept playing even with the game closed and then the crash dialog popped up. Debug Err</a
I fought one tactical battle as part of a quest, but I didn't get any more even when attacking creatures. I would get the results screen and that's it.
While the old-school opening will actually carry out now (improvement for me) it's still choppy both in music and the animation (though still mostly with the music) Once at the main menu - it's smooth, so it seems to be something with the opening? Debug.err
Please share what drivers you are using. I'm contemplating changing mine, again, in hopes of solving this. I'm using the latest official drivers (not the Beta set), 257.21 Edit: The corruption I'm talking about is where you open Kingdom Info screen and then when you close it you get some random texture overlaid on the screen. The game functions under that texture, but there's no way to get rid of it short of either turning on advanced lighting or going to the cloth map (and still any

Ok, so lets say someone with a severe mental handicap can't earn anything so he shouldn't get anything and should die in a gutter? Now I'm with you that noone deserves the right to copy someone elses IP without his/her cons
During sovereign creation, I encountered missing textures:

Every so often there's a complete freeze/very big lag on doing anything in the game, most noticed when I'm scrolling the map. The rest of the time, the game moves smoothly, but there's these periods where the game just lurches along. The lag impacts all aspects of the game, including going back to the main menu, using the interface, and even the music will be WAY softer than it should be. Then the game like wakes up and it plays just fine like there was no problem. Okay, I'm g
I get the same thing. Even Windowed mode doesn't save me. Have to go to Cloth Map mode to avoid seeing it on the map, but it's still visable on every 3D image unless Advanced Lighting it on, but then...the blur is still there.
Just a quick play through, it's MUCH faster for me now. MUCH. Saw the opening, Scrolling is smooth. The graphics...corruption thing...is still there, but I can either play Windowed or Cloth map to get around that (hopefully - I know Cloth Map clears it up - tested that). MUSIC DOESN'T SKIP ANYMORE! YAY Now I can listen to this awesome music in this game. I can see the opening sequence. Background on main menu scrolls well. Factions are different, love the ne
