Reasons being: I like FFH ... FFH is more like a distant family member that occasionally hangs around the house than a game. BUT!!! It has HORRIBLE AI. Its a great game, has horrible AI, and the multiplayer is an iffy situation. (the game itself deals with plenty of OOS, and those that like to multi FFH are few and far between, sadly) All of this to say ... I am LOOKING for a new AI to play against. The FFH AI is like an old friend, we play a game now an
please please PLEASE wait until after releasing Beta 2 before nerfing the AI. Or how about this ... whatever is above Challenging -> Have that be the new top AI. OR place a difficulty level between normal and Challenging? (if you want the name "challenging" tied to the hardest AI without bonuses) :) (just please don't nerf the AI ;)) In other words don't pull a Sid Meier [e di
makes sense to me. Does this mean no boxes? Or direct shipping (perhaps through Amazon + fedex) for a limited number of items?
Path (turn time) estimation would be nice. Rally points would be a good stop-gap, when not wanting to recalculate unit moves each turn. (alternatively a unit could stop auto-pathing once an enemy unit comes in site) And ... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]
I have mixed feelings about this (same with control points) but ... could be good. ;)

I am definitely looking forward to the new AI.
What does Daze/Mass Daze do? (and how come when the spider uses Mass Daze, it still just says "Daze" above the spider instead of "Mass Daze")
I guess I could deal with Mana for everything, if I had to.
The great Santana?
Yes ... I agree with a 9 'turn' counter (as in a turn being the slowest unit's round ... unless they have a standardized turn behind the scenes)
I dunno, I think we could draw a lot from Classical history, and the Dark Ages. A bit from medieval history too ... at least before early colonialism. But I think Classical Period (Axial age and Age of Empires) might have a bit more relevance here. (but true, we can use a little from every period of history)
Fair enough. Lets say Mana for magical items ... But still we are finding tons of mundane items as well. Mundane hero-equipment would be bought and sold for (less) gildar ... While magical hero-items would be bought and sold for mana. (although honestly I'd prefer buying a sword with metal rather than gildar, and buying magical items with crystals AND mana perhaps)
mana for magical weapons and magical items perhaps (although crystal may work better) Gildar for leather/plate is fine ... but make em cheap! (for leather at least)

I see them as hard working folk who do what they have to but (as Empire) are more willing to accept that things won't always work out for everybody, and will take hardship as it comes.[/quote] Are you saying Indians are l
I think the 'war on terror' was a satirical comment on your ideas of "war on rebels" and "war on slavery"
We should probably play the Beta (with the new AI) and try to kite them... before deciding whether it is a problem or not. If ranged units truly do have a limited range, then I don't see how kiting is that big of a problem. I'm all for larger battle-maps and larger armies, however ... so if the maximum units in an army has increased (beyond 9, or whatever it is) that would make me happy
I dunno, I think income should be based more in taxes and less in items. Furthermore, I think items should be cheaper. As in, not cost 3000 gold to just upgrade a champion with 'basic items' such as leather or plate armor.
The teaser certainly looked linear. (I think its because the Y was increasing exponentially)
I don't fully subscribe to a 'control point' system ... (other than as a secondary fail-safe to prevent draws/kiting after the primary battle is over) therefore ... I think you could have control points without them determining victory, instead if one team controlled all the control points (the primary regions in the map) ... then the person hiding in the corner should eventually lose. Therefore, perhaps losing your control point (on your side of the
Aye, the basic foundation of the Dynasty system was fine.

Been playing FE beta and a bit of FFH Games I plan on getting (in the distant ... distant future) Disgaea 4 Shogun 2 something 40kish that involves Imperial Guards? and Skyrim
