Aye, its moreso 'morons on the internet' in general. They pop up everywhere. [e digicons]:troll:[/e]

To be fair, the only retail games I've bought for myself (for the past 3 years or so) have been PS3 titles.
Hmm. So 23 hours from now?
I'm gonna go ahead and guess an even 12 hours from now. I bet 3 karma points. Any takers?
you'll be using up your resources against the new AI ;) Ie using up all your X, and trading everything else to get more X (X = metal, crystals, or diplo capital. Possibly mounts)
If they go by eastern time ... should be 8 hours. If they go by GMT ... should be 3 hours. OR they could simply launch it sometime Thursday morning, for approximately 16 hour or so from now ;)
I think I'll always shop retail on some level ... but DD has a lot more pros vs cons now than it did several years ago.
I think Champs need to remain free of maintenance. It was the oversharing of experience which made grabbing a lot useful ... now with splitting XP, it is less useful to try a "gotta collect em all" approach to champions. That being said, its probably nice to have a Champ in each city ... :)
It isn't fun ... let me tell you. Although I guess it'd be worse for a human.
Banned for having a corner
So which difficulty level has the highest AI without bonuses? Is it still gonna be 'Challenging'? Does this mean the gap between normal and challenging is gonna be HUGE? :p
You can't transport items from Championless armies, as without a vault, there is simply no UI to access said items (they are lost as soon as they are gained)
Interesing ... :D would be a pleasant surprise after all the console arrogance
Having different settings for Tactical and Strategic AI .... an interesting concept. Personally I don't care, but I can see how some might. (the only types of bonuses I don't like for difficulty level is 'extra levels' for the AI units ... if they earn the levels then fine. But one thing about FFH2 deity is the free levels making it a bit unfun for me ... >.> I don't mind resource bonuses for max-level difficulty, but level resources I don
I like Line of Sight. Would certainly add! :) Especially if there are forest tiles and hill tiles, each of which affect LoS (forest protects against enemy LOS ... hills add to friendly LOS)
The Shogunate (Kingdom, Empire, and Shogunate) -> Life, Death, and Ancient/dragon mana. The Shogunate would have neither life nor death magic ... but something else (like Chi magic, or Ancient magic, etc) Dragon magic?
I think there will always be a place for single player focused games.
I wonder what the 'retreat' option is during battles ...
No, Consoles are not Domed ... usually they are a bit concave if anything.
the first picture is my favorite
I'm not sure that I would risk a scorched earth policy ... just depends on the situation. You can't guarantee to capture their cities just because you defeated their main force. You still have to worry about monsters and other factions (where your own cities are concerned) ... and they will still be building units most likely. Best to kill their main force, then re-capture old cities, and then push forward after training some militia (in non-conquered cities, to spread out to
NO MANA CAP!!! ARRRGH!!! :p
But yeah, right now, why would you bother buying hero equipment at the current costs? If you need to spend 10k to get your heroes additional 10 defense, why not spend that on making 200 spear men instantly? Armor is not worth the current price, and items are best sold
This is the main issue
it'd be cool if they could stay puppies forever :)
I opt for 12:00AM GMT ... that'd be 7 pm wednesday morning for me ;) And I have Thursday off ... [e digicons][/e]
