The right road can win you a war.

You know what I want to see as a DLC? Dynasties!
Yeah, I want to know where the code is to add encumberance back in too. Last time I checked the .str and .def files there was no trigger for this.
I believe the mod is called FallenEnchantress.exe. I may go back soon, and see how different the two have truly become.
Totally second this. Right now there isn't much advantage to fighting an enemy sovereign (they lose mana, no big deal). If you got fame for it, or better yet, they LOST fame, now that'd be a strategy. Grief their sovereign, and you'll have better heroes than they do, overall. Not a huge bonus, but it could be a strategy.
I say remove the tree prereqs to get to chain/plate. Instead of forcing me to choose traits I don't want (Enmity, defender) to get the trait I do, just de-branch it and give it a level requirement. That way, when you find that shiny armor, you can decide to spend your next trait point to use the armor you found. Now, if you find that nice armor, you have to re-plan your next 3-4 trait choices. Which ruins a lot of the fun of progressing up the trait tree.
spiders and umberdoths and bears, oh my!
If you want to see it for sure...it is on Anthys. Can't tell you where, that's a SPOILER,
Just put duct tape over your screen where the enemy cities are, problem solved. Do I have to figure out all these easy problems for you? Egads.
Someone at Stardock has a problem with men.
Legendary Entertainers! Coming soon to your local tavern! No WAY you'll cause unrest after seeing THIS show!
Crushing blow is situational but very powerful. It can overcome defensive bonuses to an extent. And most importantly, blunts allow shields.
huh?
It's confusing for me, too! This post is MAGIC!

Sounds like the AI just doesn't play Tarth like Tarth. Quelling unrest is a huge priority for them, maybe the Ai doesn't prioritize that.
I've shut down my beta test and sworn not to play LH again till that restriction is lifted.
Hunger strike or you're not serious.
I do not find spear superior to any other unit type. Each unit type has its advantages/disadvantages and the key is learning how to effectively deploy them. The hammer/mace units can be devastating as well. The bash trait can as effective if not more than the impale trait if appropriate tactics are employed. It has the advantage that you are not reliant on the opposition aligning themselves properly as is required by impale. Unit mix
re-using the scout for the weakness trait works, but the trait is removed when you change gender or randomize their look, so you are pretty much stuck with the default look of the scout.
True. Have you tried porting the weak trait over to another custom design, then randomizing THAT unit?
I must have seen him in FE. Parrotmath knows best.
Monster lairs should spawn at random throughout the game. That'd solve a lot of problems, and probably continue the supply of bandits to recruit. Hasn't the "Recruit Bandit" ability always been there? I used it back in FE.
Funny, I swear I got Kodrin in my first LH playthrough, and he worked fine. v.5 maybe? Don't still have that save.
If I were Stardock, I would have pools going to see, once a change is made in the game based on forums feedback, how many people complain about the change. Honestly. "HORSES ARE TOO NERFED THEY ARE USELESS NOW." Ugh. Wargs still give +2 initiative, that bonus alone is huge. 2 extra move on horses is worth it, with first turn combat bonuses to boot. Right now, I think the mount dynamic is very good. Wages seem to be 30% higher for mounted units, and the supply of
Sorry, if you want extra life power, you have to find Iru T'alavar, the hidden valley that almost never spawns in any map. (sob)
As suggested multiple times: Rain of arrows should be the bow special attack. The assassin ability expert archer should increase the damage of rain of arrows by 25 % and master archer should increase the damage of rain of arrows by 50 %.
I like the idea, but wouldn't that make trained archers TOO good, once again?
